[It's been a while since the last time Reimu actually made a post on the network. She's looking pretty irritable right now and she's actually somewhere in the back of the shrine right now, dressed in her miko uniform.]

... I guess it's a good thing my Aunt and Uncle already found out about all this weird stuff.

[And why is this, you ask? Reimu will show you, because she's turning the camera on her cellphone on the large pond that's back here.]

Because suddenly there's a turtle in our backyard for some reason. And it can talk.

[And so there is. A very large turtle. With a beard. He looks really grumpy too as he speaks up in an old man's voice.]

Excuse me, young lady, but I do have a name you know. It's Genji! [He sounds so cranky too.] Hmph! Just like you to forget your own shikigami. It seems you haven't changed at all.

What's that supposed to mean? I'm pretty sure I never had a shikigami. At least not in this life. You do realize what's going on here, don't you?

O-of course I do! Just who are you talking to on that contraption anyway?

[Reimu just sighs and turns the camera back on herself.]

Like I was saying, I guess at least I don't have to hide him from them or something. Though I don't know what my Uncle's going to say about me having a pet all of a sudden...

Uh what's a Shikigami? I know he's a giant turtle so he's obviously not normal but...I guess you'll just have to hide him in the backyard and see what to do from there?

Although, couldn't you just keep him as a regular pet? He'll need more food than normal but still!

[Reimu's expression is completely flat. Genji, apparently, seems to have recognized Marisa's voice, since he can't actually see the video from where he is, because he speaks up again.]

Ah, is that Kirisame-san I hear? So that little troublemaker friend of yours is here too? I might've known.

You recognize her then? [Not that that's too surprising considering Reimu knows she and Marisa knew each other in their past lives, but it does make her wonder how much this guy remembers, exactly.]

What is a shikigami?

[She blinks for a moment before answering.]

Ah.... I guess it's kind of like a familiar? Or something like that. Eastern magic practitioners summon them to help them with various tasks.

[he's a persistent annoyance, at the very least. that's the same as being a friend, right?]

[When it's Reimu we're talking about? Close enough. Reimu just kind of sighs.]

That's a good question. What exactly can you do?

[The old turtle actually decides to answer Russel first.]

Ah, a friend of Reimu's eh? I don't remember you having that many male friends back in Gensoukyo.

Oh, alright. [the turtle scowls at her.] As it happens, back when you, or at least the past you, I suppose, was a pint sized brat of a shrine maiden, I used to ferry you around before you learned to fly on your own.

So you can fly, and that's it?

Yes, that's about it.

[Reimu snorts.]

I already got that power back, so I guess you're pretty useless.

What do you mean, 'that's it'? Isn't a flying turtle cool enough? Just because you can fly too doesn't mean he's useless, think of how handy it could be to have a flying turtle around!
