Where: A random building damaged by Wise Snake
What: Awesome graffiti and an appreciation of the arts

Varric is nothing if not an opportunist. He's donated quite a large sum of money to the rebuilding efforts, of course, any decent businessman would, but he's also taking advantage of a few properties that have suddenly become available - cheap, thanks to damage or foreclosure due to giant sodding snake.

He's at the newest one at the moment - alone, not a bodyguard in sight, which would piss his brother off to no end.

And probably isn't the smartest move, but he's been feeling a little restless lately.

He's examining the property when he hears the unmistakable sound of spray paint. His eyes narrow a little, and he turns towards to stride towards it.

"Really?"

Neku messes with his hair a little, glancing to the side. The word he was expecting was 'stupid.' "I guess," is what he ends up saying, "It's just kind of what I do..." Did it sound awkward to you, Varric? Because it sure as hell felt like it to Neku.

'Stupid' is probably one word for it, but never one Varric would use when talking about dedication to the arts. Well, not in this case, anyway. He manages to resist the urge to smile at the slight awkwardness. "Well, I certainly don't want to be the one to put a stop to that."

That was... also not what Neku was expecting. He's not sure why, seeing as the guy hasn't really shown any indication of stopping him during this whole thing. After he recovers from the surprise, he finds himself smiling a little. "...Thanks." Really glad he doesn't have to test his track skills again.
