Okay so I think I found everything I guess I need to know by looking around, but 2 things: I am pretty sure I didn't retain like ANY OF THAT (bcuz a lot of it was nonsense btw) and... like basically I don't think anyone can convince me for like even a second that I haven't just actually gone off the deep end w/ this one.

I just spent 20 minutes navigating a page of my dayplanner and all you're all talking about is just completely crazy shit, so I'm just pretty sure my brain snapped.

At first I was like, "did I accidentally join a cult?" But now I'm like "I'm using the internet (or something) in a FUCKING DAY PLANNER"... isn't anyone else worried for their sanity, if this is even happening???

My wrist is cramping but any input would be greatly appreciated, probable fictions of my imagination.

What school you go to? My daughter might be in the same one...

[He gives a little laugh.]

In that case you probably don't know many doctors, or engineers. If me and the guys I work with didn't spend half our time making catapults to throw paper balls at each other, we might have already made cyborgs a thing.

Well... A bigger thing.

Yep, that's her school. Yoko Aznable. She's captain of the tennis team and the president of key club. Takes after her old man. Haha. No I'm kidding, I was the worst student ever with the best grades. They finally let me start a robot club but then it was disbanded when my robot successfully beat the crap out of everyone else's robots and some parents complained.

Don't be mean to her just cos she's my kid.

Haha yeah. I am. They were so tired of me they kicked me outta school early and I got to go to college and get beaten down by nerds that were bigger and older than me. Served me right.

Well not physically, I mean. Ego-wise. No matter what kind of a genius you are, there's always someone better at something than you. Especially at the colleges I went to. MIT doesn't really have any idiots. I mean, obviously I'm still a smirky self-important jerk who brags at teenagers about how smart he is, but I'm pretty sure everyone in the entire world hated me when I was 17. Now, it's mostly just the people who knew me when I was that age.

I got through it and learned some lessons but my battlebot didn't make it. RIP, Spanky.

Basically, when your ego is too big, the world tends to conspire to teach you to cut it out. Not that I ever really learned it, but I'm definitely less likely to be a jerk to people who aren't stupid just because they're not as smart as me.
