[There is a golden eyed man with a large nose staring at you. The expression he's going for is neutral, but the way he purses his lips gives away his unease.]
I do not know who can hear me, but I was instructed to put a set of numbers into my computer, which...has led me here. I was told to do this by a young man who was convinced that he knew me...
[His voice is low and his accent is obvious, with wide, nasal vowels and 'd' replacing most 'th' sounds. His eyes start to roam around the edges of the screen as he considers how to continue.]
It was not a pleasant conversation. I was accused of being a danger to children. This is very insulting; I work with children. It is my job to treat them and make them well. I don't know who is listening, but I will not stand to be insulted again. I am here for answers, not for being told I should not be allowed to do my job, or that I am 'evil'.
[Now that he's made that point, he shifts, picking up something metal off screen. When he lifts it to the camera, the large, heavy amulet spins on its chain. It's almost as big as his fist, with an eye-sized orange jewel at the top of it and several smaller, similar stones embellishing both sides.] This appeared a week ago. I have no idea what it is, or where it came from, but I can't...shake the feeling that it is mine.
[He sets it back down, out of frame.]
Can you tell me what this means? Can you tell me what's happening to me?
((ooc: Ghannam ran into Luke, who recognized him and told him about the Number's Club. Sorta.))

He turns the ocarina over in his hands a few times, taking some deep breaths and calming himself down. So when Ghannam's voice emerges from the flute again, Luke is significantly less enraged. He's surprised, and starts a little bit out of shock, but quickly clamps his hands securely over the ocarina once more and glares at it. Not that Ghannam can see it, but there's a little less vehemence in his eyes this time around. This time it's Luke's turn to let the silence drag on while he mulls over the situation. He considers the other's words
for the first time since meeting himand when he finally speaks it's in a significantly less ear-splitting volume.]...Fine. But I still don't trust you. And, and if you DO find Zelda stay away from her.
[There's almost an audible pout in his voice by the end there.]
Voice
Teenage or not, he honestly seemed like he was dealing with a much younger boy. He should continue being straight forward and playing to this 'hero job' thing.]
Thank you. I promise, I will stay away from Zelda.
Now...if you do help me, you should be encouraging me to do good things, not just yelling at me for the bad that's been done in the past.
Voice
[He doesn't quite yell that, but it's definitely quite a snappish reply. He knows he just agreed to let up a little on the condemnation front, but he can't help it. The idea of letting Ganondorf lecture him about what he should be doing is just so gross. And Luke really doesn't like that bossy tone. It's giving him the creeps.
Still. Even he can admit that the shouting had been getting them nowhere. And if Ganondorf really was agreeing to stay away from the princess, then maybe Luke could cut him some slack. He takes a deep breath and tries again.]
...Her name's Evelyn here. She was Zelda back in Hyrule. So. Stay away from Evelyns too.
Voice
[...]
And I was simply making a suggestion, before.
Voice
[Okay.]
[...]
[Well if he's not yelling at you anymore, and you've agreed to stay away from Zelda then there's not really much more he needs to say to you. Wait! Haha! That means it's his chance to hang up! There's a short Fweet! as Luke plays a few notes to disconnect the ocarina from the network, and then silence.
Take that nose-face.]
Voice
OH YOU LITTLE SHIT.
Fine, you know what, fine. They did make progress. It'd probably best for his blood pressure if he didn't speak any more with him tonight. He'd already lost his cool once. This was baby-steps. Baby-steps are perfectly acceptable.
Still, though, what a freaking brat. He hates teenagers, especially teens who just don't know when to grow up.]
