[For the most part, getting Octavia and Alan here wasn't that difficult. It had been the middle of the night and they had already been packed up when they'd gotten to Gavin's old apartment. Then it had just been a quick bus trip, with Ryan and Bertholdt wrapped up in scarves (to fight the cold and hide their... deformities,) before they got home. They'd put them up in the (tiny) spare bedroom of his apartment and it wasn't too terrible. Besides Alan's night terrors and the screaming and actually having to buy food again.
