Twenty-First Message [Text | Sheet of Paper - Forward-Timed to a More Reasonable Hour]
[The first line is in fact written in after the second one.]
This is Anthony. Who else knows John Mitchell's number?
[He does know a few; the question is who's available to respond.]

he's not happy, but he's not upset.
in fact, this might not be that terrible a thing. setting aside his own visceral fear of losing himself by losing the memories of experiencing everything network related -- not the echoes, but the resulting experiences surrounding the echoes -- john has lost the burden of his bloodlust.
alex doesn't feel sorry about that. ]
Does he remember that he's got a roommate?
[text]
I don't know. [And he has no idea what to speculate he might remember, or how to not need to speculate, among other things - swallows that now, though - ] It isn't working for you either. Is it?
[Not that he needs further verification at this point, but somehow he's simply trying to keep things moving.]

Nick. He lives in the same building...

Good thing
[ wait, shit. wait. ]
Is there blood in the fridge
[text]
I don't know.
[He is actively tapping - no not tapping but scratching with his pen. Can't stop there. Do something, think think think.]
If there is, what should I do with it?
[If John has forgotten everything strictly relevant to the supernatural then alas for the man if he comes home to an apartment that smells of dead bodies and has got blood stocked in the kitchen.]
[text]
Febreeze the whole place too. Nick can help you. Hell he can do it for you

anthony just lost another home. ]
If you want to talk I'm here. Not just now but whenever

Something of a pull, as automatically on reading it he resolves - to whatever extent it's not too early to say "resolves" - not to take that up. He's already brought up nothing but bad news and complaint and worry to Alex of his own volition in the past, he's going to - pretend to forget it, if he can. The offer that is; it'd probably be a good sign if it did seem it was able to slip his mind, to a fuller extent even than "not taking it".]
Thank you, Alex.
I am gra[As if there was doubt by default, and even if there was on Alex's end, would actively saying that mean that he acknowledged there may be doubt because it was founded on his, that won't do...] I mean it.[text]
