Video, postdated to after the snakes nonsense is all dealt with

So, apparently there was once a magical land called Gensokyo...or maybe there still is? It's confusing. It was a sealed off place, probably in Japan because everyone spoke Japanese, that was a sort of safehaven for all the magic that people don't believe in anymore. There were fairies and vampires and wizards and gods and who knows what else living there, who couldn't live in a world that had forgotten them.

I guess it was my home, once, so I felt like sharing. And hey, maybe if I talk about it other people will remember it.

Oh, also I told my Mom about everything. It was a long conversation, but she's cool with it. I think she's going to use some of the ideas in her next book.

... Yeah, my job was to keep all the troublemakers in line. "Keeping balance" between the humans and all the youkai and other things living there by beating down anyone causing too much trouble. Or at least the youkai who were.

Well, okay that sounds like it might be a bit of a pain.

Yeah... to tell you the truth I kinda got a couple of memories about some of this earlier, so this latest echo thing was just filling in the blanks for me. At least now I've got an idea about why a lot of the memories I've been getting involve fighting people.
