The time in between his second meeting with Julien had been interesting, as Gabriel continued to involve himself more in the network than he had before. It was interesting, and he was aware he still had a lot to learn, but perhaps understandably he was drawn to discover more about who he might have been first. And that plant that Julien had mentioned interested him in two ways; he half hoped that he might recognise it or get an echo from it, and even if not he was interested on an academic level. After all, his PHD was in medical plants.
So there's a touch of impatience in the way that he rocks his heels as he waits for the buzzer to be answered, eager to see this Athelas. When it is answered he speaks quickly: "Hi, Julien, it's Gabriel." His hand is already on the door, waiting for it to be unlocked so he can head up to the other man's flat.
