"Yeah, he is." Hajime didn't seem too happy about it. "I never thought anyone else ever would. I'd hoped no one else ever would. Especially not..." He sighed. Having a family member who spoke the language and knew things was just not sitting well with him.

Bakura blinked. "You that worried about the bug?" he asked, keeping his voice down to not be overheard. Sensitive subject and all... "Someone else who speaks the language could help figure out more about stuff, right? Shouldn't be a bad thing..."

"Yeah, even though I haven't remembered anything with him or about him." Hajime was afraid of that, when it happened. If it happened. If. If was good. "And I could show him how, yeah..." He hadn't told anyone that he needed to be near that playing card now if he wished to remain a human. That was his biggest, darkest secret about this whole thing. If it happened, then Jack would know. Jack might already find out anyway with another Echo... "It's just...he's not someone I ever wanted to find out..."

"...Someone you knew already...?" Bakura realized, glancing over at Jack before looking back. "...Don't tell me that he's family?!" he exclaimed, voice rising a touch before he caught himself.

"He's my cousin, yeah." Hajime did not seem happy about this at all. Sure, it could have been worse, like his sister showing up on the network, but this was bad enough.

That actually got a smirk out of Hajime. "Yeah. And Jack's always been very responsible. Never caused any trouble like I did. She'd probably be more likely not to get suspicious of him."

"You should've known me in school." Hajime shrugged. "I was always getting into fights with the other kids." He just hoped Bakura wouldn't ask Lyall about it. Lyall had gotten involved on more than one occasion in hauling a fighting mad Hajime away by his collar. "Drove Mom crazy."

Hajime considered it. "I wonder if I'd sense some kind of disturbance if it ever happened...did I tell you about that? I'm picking up on weird stuff more often these days. Like that kid over there..." He gestured to Philip somewhere else in the room. "He's leaking some kind of crazy apocalyptic energy. I can feel that."

Bakura blinked, following Hajime's gesture. "The weirdo kid?" he asked, blinking again. "Somehow that doesn't surprise me..." he shrugged before looking back at his friend. "So sort of a 6th sense sort of thing? Next time I have Diabound out, you'll have to let me know what you feel off him...."

Hajime nodded. "Yeah, he came into the restaurant one day and I almost went nuts trying to figure out what wanted to set me off like that. Kind of freaked me out to realize it was a kid." He smirked. "I already picked a little bit of power off of him earlier--I think that's why I wanted to start punching. But the sense gotten more refined since then. Or stronger, at least."

"I think so, yeah." Hajime shook his head. "I'm just glad I've got more control now. The way this kid's power levels are going, I would have bugged out in the middle of the restaurant if it had happened a few months ago. It wouldn't have been pretty." He did not like thinking about such things, but it was hard to stop himself.
