Hmm. [ It's difficult to recall, but something makes her lay her hand upon her heart in real time. ] A heartbeat. A really strong one.

I had one of those too when I got an echo.

[Her voice sounds uncertain, but calm.]

I felt kind of sore when it was over.

Sore? [ Not encouraging, but she is curious. ] What happened?

I don't know. It was just like.... an aching in my back.

It's probably nothing. All I got were memories of me having wings.

[duette]

Wings? Real, live ones? With feathers and everything?

Yeah, with feathers and everything.

I was still human though, which makes it weird to have wings.

I'll say. Maybe the pain was telling you that you're missing them?

M-maybe... I don't know.

It're probbaly nothing, but I still want to figure out everything I can about my past.

Saying it's "probably nothing" is just like saying it's "just a coincidence", isn't it? Somehow, I have a feeling coincidences aren't too common anymore.
