[closed now!] zombie season has been extended

Who: Angeline, open!
When: Saturday, December 28th, ~5PM (sunset, or thereabouts)
Where: Locke City
What: Anthony's video post gave Angeline an Echo in which she, too, became a zombie, albeit temporarily.
Warnings: Zombieness, possible cannibalism (probs just nibbles.)

[ after anthony had pointed out her newest echo, angeline ran out of the coffee shop she'd been chilling in like hell was on her heels. she kept her head low and hooded, and her hands gloved, such that it wouldn't be terribly obvious that she was, in fact, a zombie at first glance.

she may:
- literally run into someone
- be waiting at a bus stop
- ??? i have no idea, i'm playing this by ear ]

OOC: SOME USEFUL INFO
- zombieness transmitted via zombie bite
- transformation is almost instant, but couple minutes wiggle room is fine imo
- will have craving for flesh
- can only be killed when brain is destroyed
- shamble or not, it's up to you
- zombieness is temporary and will wear off after a day, sooner if you'd like
- examples of zombies: 1, 2

- the aforementioned coffee shop can be one that a PC works at (if so, lmk!)

Nobody get sick, or I'm going to get sick!

[With Angeline's arm properly tied on now, Jovan loosens his grip on it and starts moving his hand away slowly, still ready to grasp it just in case it begins to fall off. Thankfully, however, it seems to be staying on. Somehow. (Oh god that's so fucked up.)

He then turns around and realizes his own arm is still unattached. He lunges for it with his free arm and stares at it for a few seconds before pointing it at Anthony.]

Y-you! You, tape my arm back on too! I am not going to go through life with only one arm because of this!

[ her attention is zeroed in on her arm as jovan slowly moves away from it. it's not falling off. somehow, measly scotch tape is keeping her arm attached to the rest of her body.

she feels herself go weak with relief. she releases a sigh of said relief, only to choke and cough on it when it's jovan's turn to boss anthony around. once she recovers, she glances awkwardly between the two boys and holly, unsure of which to attend to. ]

Don't, uh... Don't faint or anything, [ she feebly calls out to holly. she'd offer more (maybe), but there is the teensy fact that holly is once again human while angeline still is not.

and human still looks tasty.

she helps anthony reattach jovan's arm, all the while casting concerned and interested glances holly's way. ]

[He nods, shakily, on Jovan's callout, hobbles over for his part in doing the same with his arm - and is grateful when Angeline joins in, though it expresses most immediately in splitting off his attention, also to Holly.

He ducks his head under a misgiving at Angeline's call to her. Switches wide-eyed looks between his and Angeline's handiwork-armywork and her, in case she needs something next.

It might have occurred to him that she is the only living human in a room with two zombies of an inferably flesh-eating brand. If so, it's only done so inarticulately.]

[She looks exceptionally green around the gills but she's holding steady, grabbing onto the new arm and holding it still with Angeline and when they're finally done she gratefully takes a step back and covers her mouth to swallow down that nauseous feeling.

it's over, it's done, no more touching detatched arms.]

Hopefully it will wear off soon for you guys too?

[Jovan lightly touches his newly reattached arm, as if he doesn't believe it's still attached. And with good reason--Elmer's glue and scotch tape is not the strongest of adhesives. He tries not to touch it even more, though, or to move that arm (can he even move it again at all?) in any way for fear of undoing the tape at the last second and having it fall to the ground right as he turns human again.

Assuming that will happen.]

Oh Christ, I hope so, because I'm starting to get hungry again.

[He catches himself eyeing Holly and then forces himself to shut his eyes because he'd almost forgotten how delicious human flesh looked. And Jovan refuses to have to describe himself as a "cannibal" at some point.]

[ the speed at which angeline's eyes go saucer-wide is comical. ]

Um!

[ glaaaaaaaaancing at holly, then up at the ceiling and at the wall.

wait, duh!

she faces holly, forcing a smile that just comes out looking nervous. ]

You should totally go! Like, go home. Just in case. Can someone pick you up? It's kind of late.

[The same goes for Anthony.

Eyes go wide, that is - his glance doesn't leave Holly and it doesn't occur to him to think that after what was just said being gawked at by a zombie might be disturbing as he himself doesn't bite - that's it, on Angeline's turn, he looks over to her, look casting forth in between her and Holly, mumbles - ] I don't bite...

[Hopefully but unattached - he half had it in his mind to offer to help Holly find her way back wherever "back" exactly would be when the thought of but what he's wanted to stay put grabbed it and ran off with it - leaves that an offering, for whatever end on whoever's behalf it might be worth!]

[She glances between them all, here eyes going wide before she nods. Yeah she.. should probably go but-]

Are you sure you'll all be okay? [She smiles to Anthony, the fact the nice zombie tried to help is enough to make her smile kindly at him. He's done nothing but try to help them.]

I can- yeah I'm sure I can get a bus to a friends house. [She'd already told her mom she was staying with a friend, she couldn't call her mom to pick her up because obviously the parent in charge would have offered to take her home.

Maybe she could call Banagher?]

Yeah just--just do that. And don't get hurt or anything--stay away from the--what are they, Blood Keys!

And uh--and all that other kid safety stuff, I don't remember all of it.

[He's practically shooing her out the door with his good arm. Jovan feels terrible sending a young girl out on her own, especially when things are so dangerous as they are, but he also can't deny the fact that he REALLY wants to eat her right now. He'd rather she took her chances out there than in here.]

[ at the same time, angeline is shooing anthony out the door, too. ]
