All right. I've spent the last few days lurking on this network trying to get an idea of what this is and the only definite conclusion I've drawn is that it's best not to ignore it.

Apparently I'm going to be getting a lot of "flashbacks" to an alternate-universe or alternate-timeline or pre-incarnation self's life and sometimes I get souvenirs from it. Also there are people trying to find and cause trouble with the people in this network and Thunder Corps is to be watched out for? That's the general idea I'm getting.

Anyway, I'll go by Shin here. I'm a week in to this "Numbers Club" thing and all I have so far is a memory of beating some stranger at a 1P shooter game. And possibly a bottle of Coca Cola. Nice to meet you all I guess?

It was worth a try. But then again I also don't have any reason NOT to distrust you so it's okay. I don't have any way of proving myself either so that makes us pretty square, I guess.

For what it's worth, though, I don't have any intent on hurting anyone, selling anyone out, or doing anything that doesn't pertain to protecting my family.

fortunately, no. I haven't seen her anywhere in this network. My parents, either. I might be the only one in my family.

Mine is. I'm not sure at times whether I'd rather her not involved for her safety, or... realizing she'd still be in danger if she knew nothing, at least now she has enough information to hopefully protect herself.

From what I gathered on the network, they don't seem to go after uninvolved friends or family members.

Who knows why. Maybe they don't want this to leak to the public too much.

Except when they have. I've been told of one man whose entire family was killed by the police.

But I've also been told there are still some trustworthy people in the police. Some of them seem to even be us.

Aah, yeah, I've seen a post by one or two of them. It's nice they'll be on our side, and those two look like they've been involved a while so hopefully they stay.

I can't imagine how stressful that must be, working right next to or even under the guy that wants to round us all up like sheep for slaughter.

But on the other hand, if they can do some good from there... that's another thing.

Let us hope. I mean, it's just as easy for them to sell us out, but i can't imagine them getting off scot free just for that either?

My impression is it'd probably doom them as much as us.

Otherwise, people would already be knocking on our doors.
