[The feed comes on to a certain redhead. She looks frazzled to say the least, and a bit irritated to boot.]

I have a question. Has anyone gotten an item from an echo that won't go away? Or, I guess in this case, is stuck? Because I woke up with this--

[The video moves and focuses on her left hand, where a very modest ring sits on her ring finger. It's pretty obvious from how red it is around it that she's been working to try to get it off.]

And I've tried just about everything I can think of and it will not come off. It's too tight. I don't even know where it came from. I can assume, but I have a party to go to in a few days and I really don't want to explain to my college friends that I didn't suddenly get married over break.

[She huffs slightly.]

How do I get rid of this thing?

Well, that is still pretty good, then! It can be a little...tough. To balance school against all, well, this.

[ She's done a crap job of that at times, mostly defaulting in favor of school. Go figure. ]

It's definitely cut into my sleep schedule, to say the least. [Because Elly is 100% against sacrificing grades for this. Sleep is for the weak.]

What about you? How are you handling it?

All right. I mean...I sort of lost track of some of the Network stuff this month, but the school stuff I was on top of.

[ So it evened out, more or less. ]

I know how you feel, I did the same thing. Catching up has been a pain, but thankfully nothing's exploded while we were busy with dead week.

Dead month, really. [She laughs a bit. It's either that or cry at the workload.]

Only a few more years to go, supposedly.

[ That's said with a grin, though. She likes the workload, or at least she likes the learning.

Eventually they're going to be out in the world on their own. ]

I'll drink to that.

[And she holds up her coffee mug with a laugh.]

God, it's hard to believe we're getting this old. College, jobs...

Oh, gosh. I've gotten a few questions about it from my aunts, but...when am I going to find the time to date?

So I've been told. I've yet to find any of it myself, but I've heard tell of the mythical thing. Actually, I think I've seen at least one post asking for a date on the Network?

[ Apparently there is always time for romance. She just hasn't figured that out yet. ]

Huh, who would have thought. Although, now that you mention it, I do think I've heard of some people getting together after meeting through the Numbers.

I think some of the people who started dating might have, well - known one another before? I suppose that when you start remembering someone like that, it can jumpstart things.

[ She's guesstimating, anyway. It's not something she's had experience with, on the romantic level. ]
