I'm okay, Holly. I'm still cleaning up a few loose ends from earlier this week, but other than that, I'm okay.

Are you all right, though? If you need company, I'd be happy to swing by. I know it's been a trying week.

I'm glad you're okay! If it's not too much trouble, would you come by? The house is really quiet with everyone out. I have popcorn and movies!

That's fine with me. Are you sure it's okay? I don't mind, I just don't want to impose. Or, well, cause a misunderstanding.

[Even before his reputation, he was a teenage boy being invited to a teenage girl's house. Anyone feeling particularly responsible would basically have a free pass to interrogate him.]

[A pause.]

Uh, I don't actually know where your house is, Holly.

Oh! Uh- sorry! [Insert a completely mundane address but it's obvious it's in a decent part of town, and in a neighborhood not an apartment.] Sorry! There's a gate outside, but it's unlocked. If you have any problems finding me I can meet you.

I'll let you know, but my sense of direction is pretty good, so I should be okay. [Read: I know this city like the back of my hand.]

It's not terribly long before Ethan's in sight of the place; there is indeed a gate, and it surprises him just a little, but he shakes his head and opens it, letting himself in with a small smile. A moment later he's knocking at the door, three sharp raps before standing back politely to make sure she can see him.

I'm all right. My cat is spooked and we had a few dishes broken, but other than that, our apartment was untouched.

[A pause.]

You know Banagher?

Oh that's - [She pauses herself, and you can probably just imagine her pulling on the end of her hair.] Yes! His mom is my piano teacher.

[These kinds of things are hard to pick up on with just voice.]

I didn't know that. We go to the same college. He's an acquaintance of mine as well.

He's really nice, he explained a bit more about the network to me. [Through little spaceman drawings but she won't add that.]

He did the same for me, actually.

[Although she nearly punched him and ran. She'll not tell Holly about that.]

Really? He's really nice. We didn't talk much before, but when I was waiting on my mom to pick me up he never let me sit ignored.

I think Holly is easier, though I might use Sparrow as a screen name for something eventually.

I got woken up by it, I stayed home because I was a little sick- then my mom called to check on me. The news hasn't said anything about the schools so I'm hopeful. I wonder if there's anything we can do to help? I can't offer a place to stay to everyone, pretty sure my parents would get a little peeved at me.

Yeah, I stayed home from school today. I'm glad you two are okay. How's Haro? I hope nothing fell on him.

He's fine too! We live pretty far downtown so we have a lot to clean up, but Haro wasn't in any of it.

A lot of our dishes broke, but I don't want you to have to clean up a bunch of glass. We're finding it everywhere.
