A - Closed to Jamie

[As promised, Gavin had told Octavia and Alan to behave and gone up to the mall a half hour after the middle school had let out and Jamie's mom took him there to "meet a friend" he was sleeping over at. He had to take him to the clinic for a secret refill on his inhaler, that was it, and he's glad to do it for his ...ahem, kouhei. So, he parks and walks into the mall, his hood pulled up over his blond hair as usual and looking through the crowds for the middle schooler... But he has a hunch about where he'd be. So, he heads upstairs and walks into the GameStop. If he's not there yet, he will be. Might as well pick something up all four of them can play on his PS3 while he's here anyway.]

B - Closed to Jamie, Octavia, and Alan

[ action; ]

[After Jamie's appointment, Gavin gets him in the car and straps in, driving home. It's nicer at night, less traffic, and they get back after a stop for some food and ice cream and other stuff he might need with three hungry teenagers and his own post-college appetite. He walks up to his third floor apartment and unlocks the door.]

Guys, I'm back. Jamie's here too.

C - Open

[After all of the chaos dies down with the kids, Gavin logs onto the Network and while he looks tired from the events in the day, he's pleased. He waves at the screen;]

Hey. I hope everyone has been doing well, it's been a little crazy. From what I know, most of you have stayed safe and that's good. I'm already playing host to our fugitives here, but I hope everyone knows they can crash here too if they need it.

[Gavin is rather selfless, isn't he?]

I want to know, though, has anyone had... a memory of a big, three headed wolf... thing? Or a zebra thing too, I guess, but the second memory was a lot stronger. I got an item from it too.

[The Tag Ring Gavin's taken to wearing all the time seems to have multiplied, the other one he's wearing identical to the first. He's wearing the new one on his pointer finger, next to the original on his middle. He fiddles with both of them as he shows them off, and his eyes glint neon a moment before he sighs.]

Somehow, the new one seems even more important...

[Jamie's skin was giving himself a personal bath of sweat from the time his mother dropped him off at the mall, since the second one of the chess club kids lied for him, till the moment he gave them one of his hard earned shinnies (enjoy your bad egg, fucker) for compensation of covering his ass.

[Gavin is currently busy paying for a copy of Sonic AllStar Racing Transformed, but he'll turn and look at the other as he swipes his card and smiles.]

[He looks super nervous, so the blond tries to be as casual and possible.]

I got us all a game to play after your appointment, look cool?

Y-Yeah.. [He's still thirteen, eyes looking over the game Gavin is buying and feeling so much better the subject is changing.] T-that game.. is supposed to be hard.

[His lips curl into an awkward smile.]

[He hands him the bag when he's done, getting out his phone to check the time.]

Yeah, I read some reviews about it but I don't usually play co-op games since I live alone and online servers are pretty annoying... But since there's suddenly a bunch of people at my apartment I figured I might as well.

I got the version with DLC too so hopefully we can unlock some cool stuff.

We have about a half an hour before we have to go to the clinic, did you eat yet?

[He lives alone, huh? That's so cool... Jamie wonders if it would be alright to ask who those people where seeing he'd be going back with Gavin to his apartment (which, by the way, still worried him to death) but that also seemed rude and the subject was changing.]

H-huh? Do you mean lunch? I-I ate lunch at school... [Not yet dinner, the time was going on about 4:30.]

[Jamie had forgotten all about Alan and Octavia being at Gavin's apartment, sure he questioned why Gavin was buying so many snacks but surely it's because adults his age just don't have those kinda things lying around...

--but then they walk in, he feels sick, something crawling under his skin at the sight of both of them but unlike his online interactions he just whimpers something in the back of his throat. Jamie's not very good at real life interactions.. Let alone against YEAGER AND HIS FUJOSHI GF GROSSSSSS]

[Alan has not been looking forward to this. Dealing with Jamie on the network is bad enough, but having to hang out with him in real life? Ugh. Especially since he suspects yelling at the kid face to face would make him feel like a jerk.

Thus, he's not looking particularly enthused when the two come in, just grunts a "hello" at Gavin and makes an effort to become completely engrossed in his drawing.]

[ Gosh. Boys. Obviously it's up to Octavia to be her fabulous social butterfly self and make the effort here! ]

[ She's not saying it in a mean way - just gently teasing. JAMIE GETS A SMILE AND EVERYTHING, GOLLY. ]

I got a new game for us to play, if you want.

[He tosses the case near Alan on the couch, recognizing the animosity, but not instigating anything for now. He figures he'll have to break up a couple fights with the way they at on the Network, but he'll do his best.]

[Alan glances at the game with some interest and makes a mental note to kick Jamie's butt at it later before returning to lovingly detailing Batman's abs.]
