The Most Outrageous Thanksgiving Ever

Who: Arthur Curry and whoever wanted to come spend Thanksgiving at his place.
What: THANKSGIVING!
Where: Arthur's house.
When: Backdated to all day Thanksgiving.


Arthur had always loved Thanksgiving, but because he'd already visited his family so recently for Granny Curry's 100th Birthday Extravaganza back in September, this year it looked as though he was doing Thanksgiving on his own.

Not that he was worried about being alone! He'd put out a call on the network inviting everyone who wanted to come over to come celebrate the holiday with him, and today was the day. The food! The fun! The friends! Nothing could go wrong, right?

Wow. Look at that spread. Daniel was in awe. He'd never really done the Thanksgiving thing before, but if this is how it went he could get used to it.

And thus, he tore into the food. With gusto! And appetite!

Arthur joined Daniel in tearing into that meal, for this was the best part of Thanksgiving. "OUTRAGEOUS, isn't it?"

Daniel nodded, swallowing the rest of his food before speaking.

"I'll say! I've never had a meal quite like this!"

"And that's what Thanksgiving is all about! Giving thanks for what you have with ridiculous amounts of food and amazing meals! It's TRADITION!" This was accompanied by a grand gesture with Arthur's fork that threatened to sling food everywhere.

"This is a tradition I can definitely get behind!"

Hopefully, Arthuer was well prepared in the food department. Because Daniel has resumed attacking the offered foodstuffs with great gusto.

"It's the best sort of tradition! You really don't have to do anything other than eat and be thankful for it! It's a low-key sort of holiday compared to some of the others!"

At least Arthur had plenty of pie on hand. Pie and bagged salad mix, because frozen pies and premade salads are easy.

I don't tend to see it advertised a lot, is it that big a deal in this country?

Are you kidding me? It's a HUGE deal! It's usually one of the only two days of the year everyone settles down and plays nice with one another! And it's the start of the holiday season!

Well, not EVERYONE sees it that way. And it's a shame!
