It's really weird for Thanksgiving to be around now. We celebrated it last month and completely forgot that the American's do it so close to the other holidays. What's the point in even doing it now other than using it as a countdown to Christmas? Are you negating the point of this holiday?

[Cain steps into frame, working idly in a notebook. A rare video appearance from the elder Hashimoto twin! Looks like he was hanging around. He sits next to Calista, focusing primarily on what he's working on as he speaks.]

Not even to mention Black Friday, of course. I remembered, only because I've been putting up with the American idea of the holiday for longer. Honestly, it's beyond me. Isn't the autumn harvest typically over by this point? One would think you would all survive a month without fresh obligations, non?

[he shakes his head, muttering a few Quebecois curses--whether over the current topic or the other task at hand is unclear.]

A Thanksgiving feast and then all of the fattening sweets of the Christmas holidays, no wonder they have all of these health problems.

[Calista leans back, eyeing her brother and then back to the camera, reaching over and turning off.]

The thought of us still being at part partially ourselves is something of a comforting thought. [There was a notable release of tension on her shoulders. Not to say her worries were gone. Her look at the very least showed that.]

It's the only thing that makes sense. If we forget everything that we are now, then the dream us will end up repeating all the mistakes we've made and won't have the benefits of knowing the world.

[he sighs and shrugs a little, playing with one of his rings.] I've been thinking a lot because that guy I was... I don't think his life was as charmed as mine is. And if there is some way he can become a part of my life, I think it may do him some good.

I think... he was dying when I first started remembering him. He was singing about farewells and he was on fire at the time. He seemed like he was accepting it but I don't know why. I mean, who would calmly accept getting set on fire, right?

Weird being comforted by hearing someone else remembers a really strange death. Being set on fire and being calm enough to sing through it is a new one, however.

I remember... my brother. I remember her seeing him and being really happy, but he was mad and upset, and then nothing. It's additionally unsettling to hear someone completely uninvolved tell me he really did it.

It's nice to know that you aren't alone, even if it's a weird ending. I'm just not sure about why it happened and why he was calm about it.

Your brother has ties to the same past? And he has something to do with your then death? That's weird, even for the club.

[She released a breath here before continuing with a smile and a huffed laugh] It's really kind of weird how we're connected and all of the stuff I hear and receive. He worked with that me to serve what was essentially a virus that wanted to infect the planet. It sounds like a cool movie when you hear it.

Someone asked me if he was a vampire, but that was before I got stuff about the guns and the gangs.

[he smiles even though his thoughts were a little sad.] I was told that my other self's life should be turned into a book. I just don't know if I wanna share it all with the whole world. I dunno what I'd do if any of the people that were in my past life showed up. The pieces I've got of them are so sad at times, but yet he was happy when they were all friends.
