I have just had the most awkward and tense conversation in my life, but I think it was a necessary one.
Anyways, I'm legally dead, which has made my life complicated. I had to call my parents to stop them from freaking out. Don't worry, I didn't tell them everything, just the bare minimum. I'm at the safe house, I eventually managed to get back into my apartment and loot it of all the necessities. Thanks again, Davin.
Sorry if I was short with you the other night, by the way. I was still coming to terms with getting shot.
[OOC: I don't know who else is at the safe house, but if you are I am totally up for action threads.]

Next thing I know, it's eighteen hours later and I'm lying in the morgue and my face is on the news as killed in the line of duty. I'm still trying to make sense of it all.
Re: text
How did you get out of the morgue?

Attempt in question: Network, through voice. There should be no reason why Angela would recognize it... right? Even if she saw her, she did not say anything.]
So what did they say?
[Not out of actually caring, but it seems to be a natural thing to ask and, frankly, Blaine is kind of curious. Not that she gave a damn about how her own parents reacted to her vanishing, but she also heavily doubts that they "freaked out" upon the news - if she is doing them justice with that assumption or not is another question. Not hers, anyway. But Angela's seems to be a different situation, and the ensuing conversation should be easy enough to keep in innocent waters.]

[It's a reasonable answer to a reasonable question. The only thing that stuck out about it was that Angela knew she had been killed by a girl.]

[The surprise is audible, but easy enough to cover up - she immediately specifies, though not in the direction that caused the question, aka "how the heck do you know that I wasn't a guy, you can only have seen a glimpse of me and the get-up worked even with people that I spent hours with".
The tone is still incredulous and the transition smoothly enough to not raise any suspicions.] There were children in the shooting?

She had on some kind of fake beard. I guess she was trying to pass for a guy.

[Holy shit zombie.]
...told them...That I was okay, but that I had to be in hiding for a while. They think it's all part of some elaborate police plot to let me go really deep under cover.
