Casino Trip [Closed]
Who: Thomas and Hajime
What: Thomas takes Hajime out to a casino and things go south from there
Where: The nearest casino
When: Night of the 22nd
There were certain benefits to a large bugman almost killing you. Thomas had managed to learn that recently as Hajime had finally broke down and agreed to go to the casino with him after he got a random pain in his side while talking to him. It had nothing to do with the attack, but hey. What works works. Since it worked, the duo now found themselves on the highway, on their way to said casino.
"I'm telling you Hajime, it'll be fun and it'll help you relax. This is what we do for eachother. You make sure I don't get myself killed and I make sure you loosen up. It's a beautiful symbiotic relationship. Anyway, we're almost there so no weaseling out now."
On queue, the appropriate exit came up and Thomas pulled the garish Prius off to the side before pulling up to the front of the casino. Oddly, the car was swarmed with more than just a valet as they exited, a few men in suits offering to shake their hands and welcoming them. The two of them being offered some complimentary chips as they're ushered into the casino's lobby.
"... See? It's already going great!"

"What did you do?" This treatment wasn't normal. Something here was very wrong. Hajime was polite and shook the hands that were offered for the shaking, but still. He didn't think Thomas was the sort to show up with nearly enough money as what it would take to get a casino worked up this badly.
That was when he saw the sign: "INTERNATIONAL ADVERTISING EXPO." That couldn't have anything to do with it, could it?

Reaching out, Thomas grabbed Hajime's arm and dragged him further onto the casino floor. He noticed the sign, but clearly that had nothing to do with them, so who cares? "Look at it this way, the universe has given us a gift for once. We can gamble a bit without spending, the staff all seem pretty nice. It's perfect!" Meanwhile, two normal people in a normal car get turned away by casino staff for impersonating marketing execs.

Still, if he had to be in a casino, spending money that wasn't his did seem like the way to go...but there had to be a catch. There just had to be. He kept trying to read that sign. It just seemed important to their current situation somehow.

"Anyway, come on! We got some free chips, we might as well use them. Not much of a gambler though. What do you think about cards?" The question came over his shoulder as Thomas was already walking toward a near by table with or without Hajime.

He looked at his chips again. "You put yours down first." And then he'd pick the same square. Because it seemed as though that was currently the only way to win at this mess.
