[The first thing Izuru does after discovering the network is read through as much as he can. How is it possible that something like this existed without being leaked? And all the information held within it is nearly unfathomable. ...Of course, other parts are just silly, but...]

N-no way, is this that 'terrorist organisation' they're talking about?! I mean- okay looks I might do work for the government, but half the time when we say 'terrorist' it's a scar tactic. And if I'm reading this correctly...I'm thinking it's exactly that.

That aside, for whatever reason, I'm new here. Izuru Yoshinaga. ...I have to say, having somewhat of an explanation for that 'echo' is nice, at least.

After reading through the entries here, I feel as if I have more questions than I started with. But foremost, I'm curious to know, how did this manage to stay hidden so well? Have none of you been tempted to sell information? If so, I have to say that's impressive.

It's all a little much, but whether I have an option or not, I want to help.

For most people that might be a good motivator, but...self-interested people might sell the information.

Well, we seem to have miraculously avoided having people who exhibit that special brand of stupid. [There are completely different brands of stupid represented here.]

It's pretty lucky.

I have noticed the other brands of stupid around. Not so lucky on that front.

Well of course the word "terrorist" is a scare tactic. They wanna make sure the normal people will be on their side, since they outnumber us so badly. [Don't mind him hopping back to other topics of discussion, now.]

It's definitely something I've used myself, so I know better than anyone, heh. That's generally how it is.

[Don't worry, Shirou, he's already considering if he can work something to their advantage into something. Maybe he can make the mayor say something pro-numbers without realizing?.]

Last thing we need. Can hardly do a damn thing that's useful without the normals noticing and running the risk of them reporting something.

[Right, then the next thing you know, the mayor mysteriously disappears. Don't mind him. He finds fault with pretty much anything.]

It's true. I don't know if I can even keep my job in good conscience now. I've been trying to think if there's anything I can do with it to benefit everyone here, but...honestly knowing I could ever have had something to do with this, even unwittingly... It sort of makes me sick.

Well it should. [He's such a comforting child, isn't he? But then you get moments like this:]

Of course. I used to write for newspapers - that would have been much more useful. In this case, I pretty much do what I'm told. There's a chance I could sneak something in, but getting passed editors and fact checkers...that's difficult. And it's not as if I have any influence really.

It's good to know there are those who can use their careers to benefit, though...

[Or rather, for all intents and purposes, audio - the image is nothing of a ceiling in dim lighting.]

That shouldn't surprise me, but...

So then anyone who knows is in danger whether they participate or not. It's a good motivator to help the cause, anyway. Nothing to lose at that point.

It's sort of ironic. Just as we thought we were getting past prejudice in the US.

[He starts to ready a perhaps somewhat obligatory thought on that - it hazes out before he can quite settle exactly what it is or why it's obligatory - confirmatory question on it comes bumbling out instead.]

[Lifted in pitch a little and sort of awkwardly thinned itself onto the breathy side in awkwardness - occurs to him why he faltered there, that comment was probably just a joke - was it a joke? It would've been a joke - ]] - Sorry -- ...!

I have. That still doesn't necessarily mean much, given some people.

Some people are stupid, but so far so good in not having someone that dumb here.

Some people are greedy to the point of stupidity. I guess the group isn't so big that it's too likely yet anyway.

There's no reason to be greedy when the enemy talks about cleansing the whole planet.

I have to say, that part sounds like something straight out of a movie.

Sounds like it or not, that's what they told us when they first tried to get us to stand down from operating against them.

Oh, I definitely believe it. After finding out I'm really someone else, nothing's unbelievable. It's still ridiculous though.

Yeah, well, I still think they took tips from not very good scy-fy movies.

It doesn't sound so stupid to a great percentage of the population, in my experience. Accomplices who sell out fellow conspirators are often rewarded rather than punished with the rest.

Yeah, but your "fellow conspirators" also all have crazy super powers, pretty much.

Which doesn't do them much good if they're caught. ...Alternatively, people are stupid and might not care or think about that.
