For those of you who are new or unfamiliar, my name is Naomi Kaufman and I work down at the forensics lab. This is a list of people who are interested in conducting research or investigation regarding echoes and phenomena related to the current mysteries of our situation, e.g., nonhuman physiology gained through echoes or the nature of the mysterious buzzing currently plaguing those on the network, or those who can volunteer themselves or other subjects of study.

Further comments:

1. This is purely for informational purposes. I'm not going to recommend somebody for everybody; if you want a subject to look into to or someone to look at you/something you have, you'll have to do the work yourself.

2. This list might be better hosted elsewhere, in the event that I myself lose my memory of what's going on. I'm not well-versed in computer security, however, so that would require the cooperation of others who are.

3. Obviously this list is limited in scope. There's been discussion on compiling data about echoes, things we each remember or have, and anything else that could be used to make sense of echoes and their relationship to what's going on now. Any thoughts about this idea and how to handle it - format, procedures, anything - would be great.




Bad news about the police investigations about the bombings that went on a while ago: there's nothing to be found.

It's strange, but that's what's happened. There has been no evidence as to what caused them. No fragments, no residue, no radiation, nothing even from the fires that broke out. It's mystifying.

Scientifically this should all be downright impossible, but given the nature of events in this city I suspect that something else is cause for the lack of evidence - paranoid as that may sound. And what that ultimately means, I don't yet know.



Does anybody recognize the moniker of "Raging Bomber"? I don't believe it's directly relevant to anything going on now, but this is the single echo I've received that hasn't been uselessly vague and I'd like to find out if anybody finds it familiar.

Hm. Can you elaborate on this? I'd like to hear more.

All right, take for example...

There's a kid I know on here whose Echo (and asthma, poor guy,) was triggered by someone else's face due to their appearance resembling something his past life knew. That kid and the person who triggered the Echo aren't the only ones who remember the things in their set group (I call this group the "Titan Group" for clarification,) and the amount of Network posters who remember things similar to them is one of the largest groups on here, that we know about from posts.

So taking that into consideration, that there are people whose past lives ...coexist with one another, we can use this example to assume that other Echoes could be triggered by the right person. They could look like someone you remember, or say something similar. The parallels are endless, and fascinating.

I see. Thank you, I may have to take a look at that in the future. I can't say I've experienced this personally, but given the way echoes can occur this does make sense.

Right, it's really only helpful for people who have similar Echoes but... say your past self had a Sword or Power or ... I don't know, some weird crystal thing or whatever, if someone else Echoed something similar you might Echo from it too. It's not necessary that you're connected, probably, you could just be triggered by the similarities.

Have you had experience with this yourself?

I don't think I have a "group" to fall under, but I'm assuming I've experienced similarities considering the Echoes I've gotten from talking and interacting with people on the Network.

That's a start. And they were related to the things you discussed?

Yes, or the situation. The memories were parallel.

That seems in line with what I've heard about these things before. Good. It's nice to have even that much logic, with so many questions up in the air.

That's why I'm trying to plot everything out. Even if I don't really have an end result I'm looking for, it'll be worth it to see how far we've come.
