Hello Locke City! How's everyone?

[It's the usual view of Thomas, his livingroom wall, and his desk. However, tonight his face is flushed and there are empty beer bottles on his desk.]

I ... I am great and I have made a discovery! It's pretty cool, so pay attention. So! Like I was tellin' Pia back at the Halloween party, I found out I can do more than just make music play.

[Getting up, Thomas keeps talking as he is apparently looking for something.]

It was a mistake, but I found out I can do other stuff with it too. It just takes some belief! Or booze. Beer seems to help with the believin'. Ah! Found it. So, I tried it on stuff and ... and if I was able to believe it or just stop doubtin' it'd work.

[He holds up a sheet of paper with notes on it to the camera before trying to read it, frowning, and turning it back to the camera. While it would have been readable the time before, the words were now swimming along the page.]

I forgot. I can't really read my own handwriting sometimes. Anyway! It totally works and I'm awesome for figuring it out!

[His statement is punctuated by him striking a pose in triumph, a light suddenly shining behind him. Suddenly, his face gets a bit green and the light behind him dies as he puts a hand over his mouth.]

Oh ... oh god, this wasn't a good idea.

Well, it's less I can make stuff and ... well I can change things. I've mastared ... masted ... MASTERED the whole "playin' background music" thing I can do.

I think the coolest bit, was when I got first started getting buzzed, the guy on the front of the newspaper started talkin'. Stuff like "you shouldn't be drinking so fast" and stuff.

Of course I wasn't dreamin'! I did some of this back at the Halloween party too!

Even if it's real, a lot of this feels like stuff right out of a dream. Or a nightmare.

Well, I got the person on the cover of the paper to talk earlier. I'd say that counts.

Did you drink some water in-between your beers? Because if you didn't, you're gonna get the worse hangover ever.

[Why is this so amusing to him? Perhaps because he remembers being this drunk in the past. The semi-recent past. It felt kind of good to be the one on the laughing end rather than the pitiful one for a change.

Still, that 'power' was... disconcerting!! How on earth...]

I would say the power to make spotlights appear at will while you strike a pose is absolutely a product of your drunken fantasy... if I hadn't just seen it happen myself.

[Thomas starts humming a few bars of Ode to Joy and the music itself starts slowly growing in the background.]

Not my usual choice, but I like it. It's weird having special effects powers.

[Francis scrutinizes the video feed closely, trying to see if he can find some kind of trick to it, like a hidden speaker or a spotlight that isn't visible on-screen.]

I'm positive I wasn't drinking anything earlier today. I've been at least trying to spare my poor liver from the shock and stress caused by this network and the people on it...

I have no idea. All I know is it's easier if I'm drunk or really in the mood for whatever piece I'm trying to get to play. Oh! Also I need this around.

[Thomas reaches off screen before pulling an odd handgun which then unfolds into a doll out from off screen.]

Not sure why though. Or how it fires when it has THIS inside of it.

[Francis takes his glasses out from his chest pocket and puts them on his nose, trying to get a closer look. It looked like one of those silly toys that you could fold and unfold into different sorts of machines and vehicles.]

You said... you said that it actually fires? That thing is a real weapon??
