My sister is pretty rattled about the bombing. Can't blame her there. She's been looking into leaving the city, I think her bosses would be okay with that. Mom's said she and Val are welcome at her house until they can find somewhere else. [Mom did not mention if he was welcome, but Jules kind of expected that.]

But the lease on the apartment's still good for another year. Word of Cece is that if she goes and I insist on staying, she'll keep signing the checks for it if I get someone to take the other room. [otherwise he'd fill it with sick pigeons.] She wants to approve whoever that is. I can probably talk her out of that! ...Still. It's a two-bedroom one bath apartment, kitchen included, fourth floor, pretty quiet and decent-looking. And by most accounts I'm a good roommate. If I can get my hands on a motorcycle I can be your ride, even. Hit me up if you're interested, all right?

What else... Ah, I run for exercise a lot and treadmills are boring, so I hit parks and trails and things. Anyone else do that? We should meet up and run together! With all this going on I get a little uneasy going off some places by myself.

It might be good for that place to be with another numbers person, as she is not sure if she could afford something of her own, especially should she become unable to work. She does have some savings, but those only reach so far. Sure, more information would be needed for her to decide that this is really a good idea, but colour her interested.]

Maybe so! It all depends, I don't wanna commit to anything too fast, you know? I'd like to avoid too harsh of a personality conflict - I'm upbeat and energetic, after all, and that's proved a little wearing for some people!

Haha, well, I wish I could say it's all natural! Part of it is, got to be. I've been going and running and stuff since April. But some of it is my heart's supersized and my lungs are all branched and weird and stuff.

Lately especially. It's not as bad being out and about as it was a week or so ago, but like... still, there are more cops around than there were before the explosion. Can't just pretend they're not there.

Hah! Yes. And cooking, and books, music, weird stories, dance... I dabble in a lot of pools.

Not one they make movies about! Or really something for horror, maybe. Just "really, really not human". Right now I have an enlarged heart, weird lungs, my voice comes from my chest instead of my throat, my hair is white and fluffy under the dye, I have extra eyelids and the weirdest eyes, was there anything else... hmm... man, it's sad that there's been enough I can lose track.

True! But you should try and be careful anyway. There's always pictures of you. Or, well, bullets. Me, I can sort of be hard to notice sometimes, but it's not invisibility.

Yeah. It's uh... we could do worse, but we could do a lot better. Now and then someone looks into pooling our resources, but the last two people I know who tried that have forgotten.

Mmm, probably. So far I look like a human with weird contact lenses most of the time - and blue hair, hah, but I've had that for a year or two. I'll have to find out the hard way where this goes, I guess! It's incapacitated me thrice so far, I'm hoping that's it.
