[After no small amount of reluctance and waffling, ultimately Suzaku commits to a video post.

At first he's too close to the mirror for anybody to see much, apparently checking something, and then he takes a step back. That action allows for a clear view of the strange outfit he's just tried on.

He doesn't look entirely too comfortable in it, looking down at himself, over his shoulder, and tugging at what must be related to spandex]

Has anyone seen something like this?

[Suzaku is quick to amend that]

[He continues to shift about as though he's either uneasy or believes that eventually he'll stop feeling uncomfortable in the clothes. It's not long before he huffs out a sigh and gives up on that]

I can't imagine what the functional utility of this would be. Who designs something like this?

Maybe! I know he's an "agent", whatever that means. Possibly spy! That would fit with the stealth weirdness.

Not at all! He's not "myself". I don't think like him. I don't do his kinds of things. He is some other person.

Can't be! You just haven't been talking to the same people I have. There's a range of opinions here. One of my friends was strongly against his counterpart even really being a counterpart or other-him for a while.

I'd be in that camp, if anything. The person I remember...I won't ever be like that.

Some of these things are unsettling. But we're not blank canvases to be painted on. Our lives and experiences aren't any less real or meaningful.

I'd rather be myself than some other guy. Especially one that I'm pretty convinced couldn't save anybody.

[His tone darkens at that last part, because it is a matter he finds incredibly troubling. If he were ever like that, what did it say?

I know, I know. Hah... The issue is that "what I have" is kind of malleable and uncertain.

I met a kid on here who had to be ten or something, and he'd tested out an ability and figured out its limits.

Just a matter of finding a place for it.
