Rift in the clouds
Who: Calista
sugoku & Cain
cava
Where: Calista's apartment
When: November 6th, sometime after the irc chat
What: They've needed to talk for a while. During the chat, Cain prompted Calista for the discussion and then headed over to her place where she's waiting for him
She waited for him. There wasn't much to do after the chat deteriorated into small talk. Shutting down IRC, she rose from her computer chair and stretched her arms over her head, holding it for a couple of moments and then dropping her arms to her sides. There was no need to turn off her computer, instead choosing to walk away from it and prepare for her brother's arrival.
This talk was a long time coming. After the echos and new information not only about the city, but themselves and each other too, it not right to keep hiding. In all honesty, they should have spoken sooner, like normal people would. For Calista, it just wasn't on her immediate list of things to do, and she could bet her brother's dragging of his feet was for the same reason.
The apartment itself was clean enough. It probably wasn't up to the standards of others, but what little mess there was, was controlled and mostly neat. Now it was just a matter of sitting on the couch and waiting while idling playing a game on her iPad. He told her he'd come after the chat was over, but that really could have meant anything.

"I agree. I don't want it either," It wasn't often they agreed on something. It shouldn't have surprised her on this subject, but still it was good to know that he was on the same page.
"I've told that idiot not to tell me anything else about Escape."

"At this point, I think he's afraid of us learning anything new. He won't provide much trouble there."
