If there is one thing that is interesting to note about the users upon this network, it’s that you’re all very quick to adjust and move on.

A district destroyed. An attack on an innocent gathering of individuals. One does have to wonder what will happen next.

Or the more pressing question, should these incidents turn out to be related and specifically planned with targets in mind, what will you do?

Will you keep on the defensive and take each incident as it comes?

Or will you attempt to take the offensive route and try to prevent further incidents before they have a chance to occur?

The sewers. We know they were dumping something into the water earlier, to produce the laughing and Echoes and stuff. Who's to say they've really stopped? I want to know if they're still using the dump sight for something. I don't expect anyone to come with me, it's dangerous, but I can't just sit around waiting.

Depending on when you plan on heading out, we may be able to offer our assistance.

We were intending to visit the sewers at some point after all.

Any time's good for me, I'm sort of between jobs.

That is the idea behind the offer. Save for the rest of today and the morning of tomorrow, we shall be free for the next couple of days.

On the job matter. Have you considered self-employment?

We should plan something, then, before it gets to be too late.

I don't know about that. I'm no business major, and keeping my loans paid off is already a huge pain.

What did you have in mind? It's your expedition after all.

If you're currently between employment positions I imagine that would be a problem either way.

As I said, the sewers are the easiest way back to the dump sight where they put that... laughing Echo formula. There's a map of the sewer system I found in the library so I made copies. It's a direct line from Central all the way to beneath the Tower, so it'd be a quick route.

How do you propose that we access the sewers in the first place? I imagine that most of the entrances will have someone watching over them.

Manholes are easy to get into, actually. Kids in my neighborhood used to lift them all the time to throw firecrackers down during the night.

Used to. Given recent events and the on-going police matter, one can never be too careful.

Then I'll have to check them out tonight. We could always get through the sewer canal near the bay harbor if it doesn't work, but it'll be a little grosser and take a while to walk through to the Tower.

It shall be unpleasant either way, regardless of how much time we spend actually manoeuvring through the sewers.

It's the only way into the Tower area now that there are so many cops on ground. I know it'll be unpleasant, but I think it'll be worth it.

It's a risk we shall have to take.

Logically, one could argue that anything worth protecting to that degree must have a certain level of importance.

That's exactly how I feel about it. I'll look into getting a few more people and scrapping up a plan, then we'll make our move.
