So... what's this I'm hearing about pink snakes? It's become a bit disconcerting to turn my phone on anymore.

[That's not entirely true, he's more curious than concerned.]

Not to mention this talk of buzzing... You would think we had all suddenly become incapable of normal lives! Doesn't anyone just use this thing for chatting?

Welll, my latest was about flying on a pleasant day and taking a moment to enjoy it, even though he was trying to find something at the same time. And, even though it was a ruined city, but the other me seems to be difficult to creep out.

A ruined city? What sort of ruined city?

Ah, well, he's from the future and humanity has declined to a tiny minority and mostly abandoned places like cities. So, well, old burned out cars, crumbling everythings, plants destroying the pavement, graffiti about the end of the world... And on some kind of chain of islands, I'm inclined to say Japan but, I don't actually know.

When you put it that way, it's a little darker than I was expecting.

Hah, well. He was trying to find some people there before someone less charitably inclined did and just enjoying the breeze on the way. Not fazed at all by that setting... so, it's a worse memory to me than I think it was to him.

Well... if it isn't too bothersome, maybe we can slide it into the "pleasant" category.

As something utterly subjective, I'd say. It was kind of nice to feel what it's like to fly, for a minute there.

Hah, yeah... A lot of mine are subjective, it's just not usually just pleasure. Like, something unpleasant is happening but the Apostle is all determined and stuff and never stuck or unsure...

Hahaha, I don't know his name, but like - he's answered to the Apostle of the Violet Rose before, and sometimes I get tired of saying "other me".

Welll, the flowers are purple. Like, really genuinely purple. Since my eyes changed colors are more complicated, but these flowers, they really do keep just to purplish shades.

No. Or, well, yes, but my eye color's the least of it. I see more colors now. A lot more colors. Like, there are fifteen in a rainbow and I don't have names for half of them.

Haha, well, most people, when their eyes change they might look different, maybe they're even metal or something, but they work the same way. Maybe prescriptions change or they see better in the dark. I guess I felt like being contrary.
