I'm not even sure what the hell these pulses think they're doing anymore, but now I need someone to bring me a shirt. No questions, just a shirt.

[He is so irritated right now. So very irritated. Doesn't help that an earlier Echo shortened his fuse a little bit...]

I'm in the men's room of a Burger King near the Towers. Stall's the only place I could think of to hide.

The only reason I'm not trying to get home without the shirt entirely is because it's not hot enough for that, and I'm pretty sure the only thing weirder than my actually wearing it would be my going completely without a shirt.

[Skulls are a significant improvement over giant purple flowers, at least.]

And you're somewhere you can't buy a new one. Yeah, so far I haven't had that problem. The hair and the jacket aren't that big of a change.

[a pity sho isn't stuck in his big flower print shirt either. they can both be silly about clothing.]

Yeah, pretty much. I felt it starting to hit in the middle of the street and thought I should get somewhere private in case it was as bad as the first time I changed. Now it's just ridiculous.

[Hajime doesn't think he's being silly about it; he thinks he's struggling to maintain some semblance of dignity about it all.]

It's not as bad as a dress.

This isn't just color. I can handle color. This is like something vomited up a box of pink and purple crayons.

[Because he's a little unsure whether that was anxiety, embarrassment, frustration, or just plain annoyance. Earplugs are annoying, man. He's gotten good enough at picking out words, but tone still eludes him a bit. He's gotta get used to this hearing thing....]
