Who: Anybody who has a reason to be at Keisuke's place...
Where: Keisuke Nanzan's apartment
When: ......sometime
*Keisuke's had a lot on his mind lately, but the regular world doesn't stop turning just because he's suddenly connected to some psychic network and werewolves are apparently roaming the streets. Today was his usual scheduled delivery of art supplies; his door is open with a number of cardboard boxes still sitting in the doorway, seeing as how the delivery guy in question -- his good friend Toshirou -- managed to cut himself nicely on one of said boxes and is in the bathroom patching himself up. Keisuke, meanwhile, has migrated to the kitchen to put on some coffee; he likes to take the opportunity to chat with Toshi whenever the man turns up at his place, and clearly today Mr. Katase needs a lecture about carelessness on the job. Not to mention hopefully there will be time to properly say hello to Toshi's redhead friend who was helping move packages -- what was his name? Keisuke isn't quite sure if he heard it or not.
For now, though, he just finishes putting away the box of coffee filters and heads to the bathroom door to give it a knock. With his front doorway wide open, his voice is fairly audible even down the hall:*
Toshi, are you doing all right in there? Was there enough gauze in the first aid kit?

It's fine! It's barely a scratch!
*Actually he's used up most of the first aid kit and he definitely owes Keisuke a new washcloth by now since the blood is never coming out of the one he used to put pressure on his cut. It's like they sharpened that corner to serve as an incognito murder weapon or something. Toshi doesn't remember the last damn time he actually managed to hurt himself on the job. And of course it's on the day he's asking Sano to do him a favor. He grumbles to himself under his breath as he finishes bandaging up his arm.*
Stupid fucking goddamned box--
no subject
Which is precisely what Souji's done.]
Oh, is Toshi here? [Souji stepped into the apartment, taking the open door as an invitation it probably wasn't] You're having a party and didn't invite me? How rude!
[his phone is out within seconds and a text being sent to hajime. SOS EMERGENCY AT PROF. NANZAN'S APARTMENT GRAB MY EMERGENCY BOOZE COME QUICK. DON'T ASK QUESTIONS ITS LIFE OR DEATH.]
Don't worry, I got everything covered.
[JUST GONNA START A PARTY NBD. He grins, looking pleased with himself] Not like anyone has anything better to do, right?
no subject
*Keisuke glances over toward the doorway with a long-suffering sigh, rubbing his temples*
Did you need something? You can stick around for coffee if you like, but at least bring one of those boxes inside along with you, would you?... Toshi, I'll look and see if I have any more. *the last is said dryly as he heads back toward the kitchen; he knows you okay Toshirou Katase*
no subject
*Wait, did he just fucking hear Souji motherfucking Sasaoki's name just now, because-- He's about to storm out there but then remembers the mess he's made of Keisuke's bathroom.
You have five minutes while Toshi finishes cleaning this up to run, Souji. Five minutes.*
no subject
So it's not long before he's poking his head into the door, a rather unassuming paper bag from Souji's apartment in his arms.
...it doesn't look that life or death in here. Huh.]
Souji? What's the emergency?
no subject
But the second he hears Hajime he hurries to the front door, taking the bag.] Oh good, you're here! Professor here is having a party and didn't think to invite us first! And it's a pretty bland party, so I'm making it better.
[A pause] ...Should've told you to bring my xbox too. Oh well!
no subject
*Keisuke calls back irritatedly from where he's digging through the back of his pantry to look for the spare first aid kit he thinks might be put away back here, hopefully*
Souji, did you invite someone else into my house already?
*sigh. He doesn't tell them to go home, though. All right maybe he's just a sucker for you dumb college kids when it gets right down to it. ...and maybe the apartment gets a little quiet when you're not around. Shush.*
no subject
We're intruding, in other words.
[NOPE.JPG. He starts to turn to leave.]
I've got work to finish, Souji.
no subject
Souji then qsettles himself in Hajime's lap, his legs hanging over the legs of the chair and one arm going around the other's neck to balance himself.]
Stay off the cult websites and hang out with real people, okay? It'll be good for you, I swear!
no subject
And then there Souji is, sitting in Hajime's lap. Now he knows they're pretty good friends for some fathomless reason, but he's also pretty sure Hajime's in that position unwillingly. So he moves over there, grabs Souji by the collar, and summarily yanks him off.*
What the hell do you think you're doing? You okay there, Hajime? You can run now if you'd like.
no subject
[Slightly mortified about Toshi having to pull Souji off of him, especially after he and Souji had that ridiculously confusing feelings moment the other day and given that the last strange memory he picked up has left him feeling more inclined to be on his best behavior around Toshi.
But he could be worse.]
no subject
*Keisuke pauses in calling back to Toshirou as he walks through his living room to discover it already full of three young men in the middle of some sort of... .....altercation? His very dubious gaze sweeps across them as he raises an eyebrow, pausing on Toshi's hand still clutching Souji's collar. Then dryly:*
Toshi, please don't throw my houseguests at each other, they'll get shoes on the furniture.
How have you been, Hajime? *briefly raising his hand with a smile oh look it's his favorite student* Would you like a cup of coffee?
shhhhh this isn't late
Oh. New people. Young people? Sano is confused. And curious.
And confused.
...And is that talk of a first aid kit? Guys he was gone for five minutes what did you do.]
Did I interrupt something? Should I come back later?
[Maneuvering past the obstacle course that is the collection of boxes, Sano sets down the last package and smiles to himself. He's making a bigger deal out of it than needs to be done, but if he can tease Toshi, he'll take that chance.]
It's fine and all, I'll just leave you my card.
[Reaching into his back pocket for his wallet...]
no subject
Wait, don't go! You're my only hope, save me before this barbarian kills me!
no subject
Don't listen to him. [ This is addressed to Sano. ] He's off his meds. [ And then Toshi shoves Souji over at the armchair over by the window, away from them. Close enough, really. Close enough that Toshi can imagine Souji just missing that seat and tumbling out through the open balcony door--
Oh, right, introductions. ]
Er-- Keisuke, this is my friend Sano. Sano, this is that guy I was telling you about, the professor. Over there's Hajime. Good kid, great student. And of course you know my idiot part timer.
no subject
I apologize for intruding, Professor. Souji said it was an emergency.
[And somehow after all this time, Hajime's still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Go figure.]
no subject
*eyeing that paper bag by the couch though, don't mind him while he confiscates that, thank you very much*
Are you busy? You really could stay for coffee. Otherwise don't feel trapped here, though, I can babysit. *giving Souji a dry glance. After a second, though, he turns toward the other non-students in the room*
It's a pleasure, Sano. *smile* I'm sorry about all the commotion. As you can see, I often have little ones underfoot. *voice still very dry* So you're just lending a hand today, hm?
no subject
Yeah. Toshi's actually lucky. I would've had some clients right now, but they cancelled.
[And then it sinks in that no one else probably has any idea what kind of clients he's talking about.]
I'm a relationship counsellor.
no subject
Relationship counselor? Well thank god for that, this entire group needs that.
[He points to Hajime and then down in a 'stay put' movement] This is an emergency! There's a party without inviting us! Besides, you don't have anything important to do and taking a break from talking to weirdos on the internet will be good for you.
no subject
[ Toshi quips this with a slight roll of his eyes. He'd do something more about the situation, but Keisuke seems to have it handled at least. Instead he takes the bag that Keisuke's confiscated and looks inside-- Oh hey. ]
Want a beer, Sano?
no subject
If it's really not a bother...
ugh I'm sorry guys :(
*he doesn't comment further or bother trying to grab the bag back, though, just shaking his head with a long suffering sigh before taking a few steps toward his kitchen. He glances back toward Hajime with a brief smile*
Not at all, as long as it's not too embarrassing to be seen hanging around at your professor's house. *giving a brief, warm little laugh as he gestures for Hajime to come follow him* Do you like coffee or should I find you something else? Ah, and of course, the rest of you help yourselves.
no subject
I usually drink tea, but I don't mind coffee.
breaking off a new thread
Well then, in that case. *Smile. Ducking inside the kitchen, Keisuke makes a beeline over toward the cabinet next to the coffee maker, pulling out enough mugs for anybody who might want them. Before Hajime can grab on on his own Keisuke's already handed one his way, though -- casually and in passing, before he himself quickly moves to fill up a cup. He totally wasn't watching exactly which hand you took that mug with just now or anything, by the way. That's just your imagination.*
If you take sugar, the bowl's over here. *smile* And there's cream in the fridge. Ah, spoons are this drawer here.
*he gets out of Hajime's way at that point so the younger man can fix his coffee; there's a lull in the conversation as Keisuke heads to the fridge to prepare his own.*
no subject
The question, rather, is whether he chooses to make something of it.
But he doesn't say anything, simply nodding in thanks as he takes the mug and grabs the cream from the fridge - just a bit of that, and no sugar.]
