[ Despite being connected to the network, it’s clear from the first sentence that the conversation participants are still having a talk of their own. ]
I take it that you don’t want to investigate who our fellow network users are then?
We’ve already looked over the back-dated entries, it’s a network mostly filled with teenagers.
You say that like it’s a some sort of terrible tragedy.
I simply think it’s a waste of advanced technology. Regardless of why we all have access to it in the first place.
[ There’s a slight pause, a moment of complete silence. ]
You’re already connected, aren’t you?
First impressions are everything, my dear sister. Would you like to try again?
No. You seem to forget that while impressions are important, actions speak louder than words. I intend to investigate those lights.
I’ve read that the little light show has happened before. I don’t suppose that anyone would be willing to give a few details about the initial incident, would they?

As for details, what sort are you after?
[Audio]
As for the matter of details, any that can be given.

anyway welcome aboard!!
i would have been happy to give details about the incident but i'm afraid i wasn't around then :/
however if you need any information on incidents post mine adventure 2.0 i'm happy to help
[Audio]
We would appreciate it if you could bring us up to speed with more recent events.

okay after the water poisoning which i think was mentioned in the faq
a bunch of us stalked the reservoir and found that pink stuff was being dumped in it
recently a bunch of people tipped off the media to the dumping thing and so the tap water is once again (?) safe to drink
and i know some people broke into the houses of thundercorp execs recently
i wasn't involved in that so can't give details
we also went down to the mines again, to follow up on the sage of the earth thing
although we knew once we were heading down there that it was bs and were just investigating
there was a buzzing down there
and now there's a buzzing up here
there is a lot of buzzing involved in things i guess

[Not that he looks particularly offended - or like a teenager for that matter.]
Ain't so sure how much I could tell you about the lights last time, though. I kinda thought I was baked out of my mind when it happened, but... a lot of us got this weird urge to use the numbers the last time it happened. Like, they'd just been this weird thing we remembered before that, but after the lights they got stuck in our heads worse than even Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious ever did.
[Audio]
One would assume that something will have changed in response to the second set of lights.
Indeed. Although I doubt it would involve the numbers again.
What about those echoes people seem to frequently speak about?
I don't suppose that you've noticed a recent change in how the so-called echoes work, have you?
[video]
[He shrugs lightly.]
And I ain't sure what these new lights've changed. The flash-echo-whachmacallit that I got was pretty normal, as these things go - just this castle hanging in the air, which ain't so bad compared to some stuff. But there's the noise, right? Like... you know, buzzing in your ears, getting stronger or fainter depending on where you happen to find yourself?

A collision between charged particles and atoms within the thermosphere.
This city quite simply lacks the necessary components for a natural display.

Do you two have names?

He kind of likes the sound of these guys. The back and forth reminds him of that one couple he chatted with before. ]
I, uh...
[ He clears his throat. He's still getting used to the party line. ]
I didn't see the other one, but I read that it... happened. [ Oh, that wasn't as helpful as it sounded in his head. ]
audio;
Still an initial lack of assistance doesn't mean that all is lost. ]
I take that to mean that you saw the more recent one?
Audio;
As for the last lights, I saw them when I first moved here. I saw them and next thing I knew I had a scarf around my neck that I didn't own before.
Audio;
College students could still fall into the category.
Assuming that they began attending following straight on from their previous education.
Though that's really neither here nor there.
I suppose not. Are you quite certain that the lights somehow generated the scarf?
Audio;
I've gotten this scarf and a few other things actually.

I didn't manage to see the first set of lights myself, back in April wasn't it?
I was down in Ocean City on vacation, and managed to miss months of this place. It's kind of disappointing.
Anyway, if you want to investigate the lights or the tower or anything I'd be happy to go with you guys.

We were still in England at the time. Still, the past is in the past. And now we have a fair amount of time to make up for.
If you wish to come along, you are welcome to do so.

I know a couple people are planning to go investigate, we won't be alone.

[ Commentary on this particular message's content itself? Nah. Kallie's just now realizing that there's a slight trend to be noticed here; truthfully, it's entirely possible she doesn't even fully compute she's offering an actual reply. ]

It does seem strange doesn't it?
The fact that all of this seems to treat us like a singular being? Quite.
[ Neither of the twins sound overly concerned about the abrupt topic change. The stranger the topic, the more interesting the city seems to get. ]

... Do you... have the same number too, then?
