It takes a bit of time before Miles does wake up, but he does on the way to the clinic. Naturally, he's feeling incredibly disoriented due to the change in where he is and also because of what even happened. Truly, waking up like this is far worse than being woken up from a sound sleep.
He doesn't say anything at first, but Karl may catch on that he woke up by some slight movement as he's trying to figure out what happened and where he is now. It only takes about a minute for Miles to become coherent enough to recall about what happened, at least about as much as he'd know since what he was aware of came to quite the abrupt stop. That fact alone gives him a good idea of what happened. He's still feeling a bit of the fear he was feeling during that memory as well. He closes his eyes again, that seems to help a bit.
"Sorry about that. Never had something like that happen before." He does sound reasonably coherent at that point, though his voice does give away that he's still feeling a bit anxious and shaky, but sounds otherwise fine.
