Once within distance of the designated meeting place, Miles catches Karl's eye instantly. Maybe seeing the old acquaintance causes some of the irritation to vanish. A nod of greeting gets send the other man's way as he draws near, "You couldn't have foreseen this. And you, as well." Neither of them had gotten an ability permitting them to glimpse into the future, least not to Karl's knowledge.

Though really, being able to see the future right now would be convenient. It might help reveal what the cause of the buzzing is and how to eliminate it from the face of the earth. Really, what could the possible source behind it be?
