[Insert a photo of a tarot card. However, the slight grain in the photo says that this is a capture from a phone. In the photo, the tarot card is surrounded by some kind of blue-colored mist. The design on the card though is still very clear.]

A few questions to those familiar with tarot:
What is this card, and what does it symbolize? Whether as an individual card or in a deck, I do not mind. I'm simply trying to discover what this card's relevance is to myself.
[Well, she does have an idea from all her research, but she would rather know from a person what they think it means.]

Not familiar with that deck style, though.

It's an interesting analysis at the very least.

Let me guess, flashbacked it?

Think there might be something sealed in it? Or that it might be waiting for you to do something with it.
Gotten anything else back? Something that maybe you can run the card through?

And it doesn't have to have anything that can be scanned, it just needs to have something happen. That's just how those things work.
[Text]
For the latter, I likely not have received a scanner for it yet, unless it is compatible with any mundane item. I can tell you however that a QR reader registers nothing.

Oh those square cell phone code thingis? Didn't know they had a name.
A friend of mine had a card he flashbacked back. He can run it through a belt and it does a thing. Might be something like that.

Wish I had any other ideas! Sorry.

Until then, keep poking at it. Maybe it'll do something if you find just the right way to shake it.

[loooong pause.]
I don't know how I know that.

Does that make sense to you?
[text]
No. I'm sorry.

In the meantime, may you tell me what the other cards are, and what they symbolize?

[Especially when the handwriting makes it obvious that this is that young boy.]
[text]
There's the Magician, the Priestess, the Empress, the Emperor, the Hierophant, the Lovers, the Chariot, the Justice, the Hermit, the Fortune, the Strength, the Hanged Man, the Death, the Temperance, the Devil, the Tower, the Star, the Moon, the Sun, the Aeon, the World, and the Fool. The Fool's either the first or the last one.
[text]
[Pause. No she's not counting this right.] Rather, 0 or 22.
Re: [text]

Apparently it can be used to signify the "protagonist" in a story. Is this true?

Thank you for your help.

Doesn't it matter if it's right side up or upside down though? Does it differ when you summon it or is it always the same?
no subject
"Summoning" it is always the same; the blue mist appears just a fraction of a second before the card itself does, and the card will always appear upright, the face towards me.
no subject
I don't know anything about tarot to be honest, though. A quick google right now tells me... "Upright: Good luck, karma, life cycles, destiny, a turning point."
The life cycles, destiny, and turning point parts are actually pretty logical if you consider the reincarnation.

Your search on the Wheel of Fortune is in line with what other people have been telling me, and yes I do find it strangely appropriate for our situation. Though I am not sure if this is some omen, a reminder or something else entirely.

If anyone at work asks what I'm doing I just tell them I'm working on a book. Webbing, you know? It's worked so far.
Who's working on that? Are they anonymous? I'd like to talk to them about it at least.
As for the card, I can't be sure either. Nothing's impossible until proved otherwise, though, so just keep an eye on it. Who knows if it'll change?

1. The directory is not anonymous-- I have seen people leave their names and the one running it goes by the name "Raven". The GDoc however is indeed anonymous.
2. Or if I will receive more cards in the future. It is after all just one part of a deck.

Don't you need three cards for a tarot reading? Maybe you should expect more in the future.

And I am now aware of some rules to a reading, so I do expect to see more tarot-related echoes in my future, as odd as it now seems. Though they may help us in discovering more about this situation, or myself in knowing who I had been.
