Round two.

Those were the same lights as back in April, weren't they? When the numbers started working. Makes me wonder what just activated this time.

So, did everybody feel something too? Flash back or pulse or whatever the hell we're calling them.

And how many of us are left who were there for the first one?

Means I'm going to have to actually bring a game you need skill to play next time, huh? [[His tone is light and casual as he starts outside, expecting Anthony to follow]] Maybe Monster Fight... since that's turn based. Ever play that one before? Ah! Or do you have the Magic deck I made you still?

[He simply looks from the bag to Bakura with a few different next thoughts drifting about - one to confirm whether to follow, and one to answer that in the affirmative, and one on the vague thought that there's some joke in this...] Are you -- ...sure it won't kill me, if I play cards with you?

[Hopefully that came off in sufficiently lighthearted spirit!]

Aaa... [[Bakura falters just a moment, scratching at his cheek before rubbing the back of his neck with a small laugh]] Pretty sure! Maybe it's best sticking to video games, just to be sure....

[Small, rueful breath-only laugh in kind - at least that was received well enough!

Sound complete, meanwhile, his attention wanders back to the bag - then coasts into the apartment, glancing up an down, then redirects to Bakura.] -- Is that... - everything - ?

[Everything that needed be done before they go ahead and leave, that is - if so this seems a little of a sudden stepping-out, but that isn't unwelcome.]

Un! [[smiles]] All I need with me is in here, after all! [[smiles, putting a hand over his heart]] And it wouldn't do any good to summon him here! Especially if that changed...

...A lightbulb does spark, and a positive one in a handful of ways. Brows edge upward lightly.]

You think it might be - him - who -- ...has changed - ? -- Is that, er - why you decided to practice -- ...today? [On the last word, the effective yes to the previous question finally registers properly - pulling up his hood, a glance over a hunched shoulder, he shuffles through the doorway to join Bakura bringing the door shut behind him - ]

[[a nod]] Davin suggested it might be something like that, since I don't know what that flashback was.

It better not be something delayed... [Muttereded with a thin, scratching chord of concern as he slouches edging back up to the door and fumbles at the lock - once it's closed, partially turns back to Bakura, gives another sidetracked look mostly sideways, and say, equally-distractedly:] -- We'll - ...see if it's Diabound, though, then - perhaps...

[[He patiently waits until Anthony's ready and then starts walking]]

Hopefully not. Last thing anyone needs is to be blindsided however after getting that fake heart attack.

And I'm kinda hoping it is! Wouldn't it be awesome, if he could be solid?

[Anthony drops a nod in a surface chill of uneasiness on the first comment. Once he trusts the door's sealed, he turns and gets on to a staggering, not-quite-skulking start after Bakura.]

If he could be - ! [A little breathy, but light - if he could, less so than if he needed to be.] At will - you mean...

...You er... probably wouldn't need to be -- ...afraid of - much - again.

[In a combat situation, at least. Versus anything not dramatically removed in size or capability from the worst they've scrapped with so far. All the same said with a little heart, conversational shake of a laugh.]

Right? [[a grin]] Just bust him out in the middle of an attack, boom! All taken care of~

-- And you have - seen him fight in visions... [Statement made as a confirming question - he does think he recalls Bakura having said so that first "meeting" in the swamp; he'd have a sense of what he's capable of indeed in a pinch, then.]

Un! [[another nod and a grin]] Against a whole mess of other kaa.

Did he -- have - to become solid for that...? -- If you could tell? -- Or - were they able to fight - since... -- they were both - similar - types - ...? [To clarify that ungraceful wording:] - Of being - ...

He already was. Far as I can tell, he's only not-solid when his ability to travel through walls is active, in the memories. But since my baa isn't strong enough, he can't be solid here yet.

I think that's it, anyway.

We'll -- find out if it is now -- [Definitely a little wheezier, partly out of it having been said a bit carelessly - it's to the effect of something already stated, but it's intended as further encouragement of doing everything decided...]

-- You're, uhm. [Breath and light swallow, continuing to follow along.] -- ...Sure I'm not going to be that noticeable -- ? -- It doesn't look -- ...like it makes sense moving like this on purpose -- probably...

If someone goes to make fun of you for being ill, I'll punch them in the face and they'll have bigger problems~ [[Said so cheerfully!]] Just keep your hoodie down and you'll be fine. Promice.

[One thought that that's not exactly what he's worried about, and one more pointed thought that aren't you supposed to just ignore it?]
