Round two.

Those were the same lights as back in April, weren't they? When the numbers started working. Makes me wonder what just activated this time.

So, did everybody feel something too? Flash back or pulse or whatever the hell we're calling them.

And how many of us are left who were there for the first one?

Anything happen?

Yeah. I have WAY too much information about a 37 year running series about superheroes.

Exactly! It's called Super Sentai and made of, ususally, 5 man teams.

Usually animals or vehicles that would then transform and combine, but you occasionally got a leader with one that could get humanoid on its own.

The mech fights were usually at the end. They'd defeat the monster on the ground, it would turn giant, and then they'd beat it again. Except in last year's. REALLY good year for mech fights.

Lets see. 2 years ago they were space pirates, but they were pretty much always on Earth. The one 6 years ago ended with two members going out into space.

Oh! There was the American adaptation of MegaRanger. That one was set completely in space.

No, they used the suits for a completely original story actually. I guess since the basis for their first series was a group of highschool students they didn't want to use MegaRanger's highschool theme.

Now the first season of Powerful Rangers, that was alot more "AMERICA!"

It's cheap. You just borrow the costumes for when you need original footage and you dub over the fights. That way you don't have to make half the show.

Yeah, but then you have to deal with things that don't match across cultures, no live appearances, you can't do anything original with it, and you'll lose the audience who won't watch a show about Japanese people for some reason.
