I'm going to be drinking a small amount of this tainted water as an experiment. It hasn't had any permanent health effects yet, and I want to know more of whatever information these "Echoes" give us. My hypothesis is that I will gain some kind of supernatural ability that I can analyze further later, or knowledge useful to combating the weird monster things that want to kill us. I predict a small cancer risk, but significantly less of one than, say, being bitten by an irradiated arthropod. I have secured as safe a space as possible, and I will be leaving this connection open just in case something terrible happens for immediate medical aid from the goody-two-shoes types on this Network. [She picks up the cup, and lifts it a little bit like a toast.]
