So, after some discussion with various people, I decided it would be a good idea to have some kind of central database of what we know. Or, to be more accurate, of what we have learned through echoes.

However, there are some logistical problems, especially regarding anonymity. It doesn't seem like the network is a good place to post this information, since you can't disguise who you are. I thought about it, and I think the best plan is to use a google doc. You can find it here.

It's completely anonymous, so anyone can edit it. Obviously this means there's a risk of vandalism, and we can't verify anything you add, but it seems like the best solution. I've already added what I know - it's not very exciting, so I don't mind sharing it. If you think of any extra categories we should have, please add them in.

1. The document is going to be hosted on a private server, with some additional security. You can still edit anonymously, but it should be a little safer.

2. If you are corroborating something, please add an x next to the item. That way we'll know how many people have similar experiences in common.

What I'm hoping is that people will begin to notice patterns and connections. There has to be some greater picture, and maybe we can begin to see it.

There's a potential risk by using something open to all. If people go for the idea, I could come up with something similar and host it on one of my own servers and add in some extra protections for privacy.

Yes, that is a risk. That's why it's anonymous. At least if they find it, they can't connect the information to any of us.

There's always a balance. We should definitely work on having higher security, but we also need to share information if we're going to fight our enemy, and this seemed like a good start.

Though not finding links would be revealing in its own way. As would contradictions, if those appear. Whatever happens, we can learn something new, which I think is always valuable.

Yes, but as far as we know the enemy has people in Google. It's not likely but "unlikely" is by no means "impossible".

I haven't been here very long, but already I've heard so many stories - laughing gas in our water, horrible monsters appearing from nowhere, people turning into strange beings, a trap in an abandoned mine-shaft - it seems to me that we're already at a huge disadvantage. They already know a lot about us. I'm inclined to think we should know about us as well.

Well, I think you should add it anyway. It's not like my pulses are any more useful than that. But if we're going to know anything, we should know everything.

That really is a lot of typos. You do realize you could go back and edit them, right?

But yes, people here do seem rather reserved. But I think this is worth trying anyway. And there is one advantage - the more people add, the less obvious what you've added will be. So if we can get enough momentum, people should be more comfortable including what they know.

No, you're right. I won't claim to be an expert at secrecy, and I'll gladly default to those who know more than I do. I just want to help out somehow.

It's interesting that impossible eyes are so common. I know impossible hair applies to more than just my world as well, because that's how I remembered it. This is why we have to share information. There must be some connection.

Well a couple of people are going to host it privately, so google won't be able to spy on us at least. But the aim isn't security - that's why we're doing this anonymously. The aim is communication.

Oh, I was thinking of the memories as a seperate world/worlds. Because of something someone said to me the other day. No idea if it's accurate, but it helped ease how impossible this all seemed.

The person I was talking to suggested that information is travelling between universes, and that's why we're getting these memories and changes. So we're connecting to some kind of alternate self. I thought it seemed really sensible.

You should probably go and talk to the people offering hosting about that. I am not tech-literate.
