Okay, so we've established that there's something in the water. No Brooke Fraser jokes please.

I can actually see the contamination, or whatever this is. It's kind of shouted down by the fluoride, but if I take some out into the sunlight in a clear glass, there's definitely a different color to it. Sticks around if it's boiled, but it doesn't get concentrated down.

Are we a reservoir city or is it something else? I don't know a thing about how this works, but someone's tampered with the water supply for the whole city. Anyone else think it's worth going and finding the source?

Lol, I wish. It was more like "Okay, I've done this before, I got this, I know what to do." It was weird. And still pretty awful! But things worked out.

Some trouble. Sometimes there's people you know are in gangs, right? But they're supposed to leave that behind in there, I just had to remind someone.

Not that I saw. I think they were all normies.

So it is confirmed that only those connected to the network are affected, yeah? It makes me wonder about the biology behind it all. (Not that I think I'd understand it.)

Well you don't see a lot of people out in the streets doubled over. And idk. We're the only ones who hear or see the network, the only ones who can resist the statues, and now this.

So what do you think separates us from the normal people? I'm hesitant to say it's something in our DNA, but what else could it be? Or maybe it's magic?

Idk. I mean we all start off as normies, if we head too far from the city we become normies again, and sometimes people here just... revert.

I've heard the theory that the network is some kind of telepathy, too.

So, essentially: there is no rhyme or reason to all of this. Or, alternatively, it's all based on magic. Haha, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. :)

I haven't heard about this theory on telepathy though. It does make sense, I guess, but I'm not sure it makes me feel all that comfortable. Letting other people know what I want them to know is one thing, but I hope this doesn't expand to giving them a free rein into my head some day.
