004 — video. [iphone] (forward dated to the 3rd!)
[ So instead of speaking straight off, it looks like Banagher is having a tough time just keeping his phone steady enough to record himself coherently. He's very carefully nursing a (lovely, gorgeous, untainted) bottle of water, and honestly it looks like he's just run a marathon only to get punched in the nose as soon as he crossed the finish line. Cheeks all red and expression furrowed, there are still tears edging in on the corners of his eyes. Hell, he even has the hiccups. He takes a deep breath and winces. His poor, sad lungs have zero composure left to give. Who knew laughing could be so completely awful?
Don't check the network for one day, he said. It'll be just fine, he said.
LESSON LEARNED. ]
All that — [ hic, sniff ] — just for something I already remembered once? That same speech, about the Earth [ hic ] and space.
And humanity's dream, or whatever it's supposed to be. It's [ hic ] still hazy. These pulses, or echoes... don't happen twice for no reason, do they?
[ Briefly, his expression sours. Though all it does it make him look kind of pathetic. ]
My stomach really hurts.
(ooc. dated to the 3rd because i'm a sad busy worker bee.)

that's very sweet of you to say, regardless!
yeah that is a little obvious.
i mean it is hard to miss when there are werewolves attacking you or a mine falling on your head?
i have not experienced either personally but that seems pretty obvious to me.

it's not like you could have known without precedent, that's all. Seems a little quick to think there was something you could have done, you know?
[ shhhhhh chill ]
And way obvious, right. This just makes me think they know as much about us as we do about them, though.

"alien invasion" does seem to be the party line i keep getting
and it stands to reason they wouldn't get us if that is an actual thing that is true

i've seen some weird things
how about you?

Believing it raises more questions than it gives us any answers, but I'm not a very good skeptic...

especially not with you know
proof?
i mean i can't explain these pulses/echoes/whatever you want to call them in any other manner

educated guesses. Proof with no answers is the frustrating part, right?
[ and you know, "educated" ]
Memories and stuff like that seem like they could be harder to pinpoint, but trying to explain away something like, say...an object hitting you in the face out of no where? Not so much.

i like to know things
and to know why i know them
has an object appeared to hit you in the face out of nowhere
