[Over the past couple of days, Bertholdt has been getting used to the sudden necessity of.... being around other people, even if it's just through talking or video chatting over the network, so he's not as surprised when he hears Ryan's voice. i'm still figuring it all out myself but that is a terrific stepping stone!
and has some useful warnings/tips.

i think what you can do is maybe offer your services on the faq so they can add that there's someone @ the station if we need help in that manner?
also you should speak to ellie (linked her last network thing)!
she is trying to put together some form of resistance/defense i do believe.

otherwise i think just talking to people and learning what's up is probably helpful!!
and if you see an emergency here and know you can assist, do so!
i've seen one or two things happen, but i either wasn't close enough or equipped to do anything.
luckily, there are enough of us that someone seems to be nearish in emergencies, and many people have useful skills.

oooh, if you think you could train people in some sort of emergency skills, you could offer those too?
