Adventure 04 | Video

[The video feed opens, and there's Arthur in a small kitchen looking excited about something.]

Guys! Guys! I FINALLY got rid of the bug infestation in my pantry--and you're NEVER going to believe how it happened!

[He'll move the camera and...that sure is a very nice, neat group of silverfish standing there. It looks sort of like he's amassed a small army; they're standing at attention in rank and file and everything.

I ASKED the silverfish to leave and they actually listened! OUTRAGEOUS!

[His grin broadens.]

I guess it's true--a fish is a fish, even if it's a bug!

[she laughs.] I'll take your word for it. Other-you's word. Seems like kind of a weird power to have, if you ask me. Unless you can control every silverfish in the city and turn them into some kind of... silver tide to wash our enemies away.

Maybe you can train it! I mean, if it comes from your brain, that's practically a muscle. Just start flexing those silverfish-controlling neurons.

Or if you can't get all of them, just try to get one really big one. Like the robot from Terminator.

Riding on fish through the streets of the city... okay, if you can get them enough water, that actually sounds kind of cool. Maybe the person you were "before", the other you or whatever, maybe you'll get some more of those powers if something weird happens again. Then you won't have to work so hard!

Not that we can control what happens or anything, but, you know. Rule of cool and all that.

It sounds like it! You sure do like that word, "outrageous". I've never heard anyone use it as much as you do. It's a good word.

Of outrage! Wait, no, it changed meanings over time. Either way, not a lot of people use it, and I think it's cool that you do.
