I’m looking for a cat.

That is, my cat. He’s…well. [He thinks about this for several moments, before continuing] He’s black and sort of lanky, and he’s got a white spot on the back of his neck. I don’t know when he got out, but with the stormy weather lately, I don’t think he should be out on the streets.

[His discomfort with the situation is obvious, but he just can’t seem to find his cat on his own]

If you see him around, I’d appreciate it if you’d let me know.

I called about half an hour ago. Tried the local shelters too.
