[Mutants might be attacking them in their homes and outside them, and suddenly the world is full of unexpected terrors, but some things don't change. Having to pay your bills is one of those things. So no matter how rattled he might be, how frightening he finds the things happening around him, Fay is back at work.
While he dances, he can block those things out of his mind for a while, smiling down at the sea of writing bodies and accepting tips with the proper amount of cockiness and flirtatiousness. That, however, doesn't mean he's not hyper-aware of everything happening around him - that's how he usually is, unless he's taken something to blunt that edge.
In the middle of the dance floor is a group of very obvious straight guys making a lot of noise and apparently having the time of their lives partying with a club full of gay guys. It's almost endearing, the way they're clearly having so much fun, unashamed in the way they draw attention to them. Fay can see some guys frowning, looking at them in distaste or anger, but others clearly have no problem joining in the fun and mock flirting with the flock of dudes.
He lets his gaze stray, towards the bar and the few stalls where you can sit down for a while and there-
-the heavy bass beat reverberating around the club turns into something like a heartbeat, and he's empty, so very empty-
-and he knows that he knows the man sitting there. Somehow. The feeling is incredibly tangible, but he doesn't know just what to do with it. So he decides to move closer. The podiums for the dancers are pretty long to allow them movement without having to go through the crowd, and so it is easy for Fay to place himself right in the other man's line of view, and since well, he's handsome, he's also motivated to throw an extra ten percent into his dancing. Lets seem him not notice him now.]

And then he has his lap half full of a very attractive young man and it's pretty hard to think about anything else.
In more ways than one.]You seem very confident. Thank god.
[ And then he gives in to impulse and leans in to kiss him. ]

If you do anything else even half as well as you kiss, I am definitely looking forward to the rest of this night.

Afterwards his breath is fast and uneven and all he can manage is a weak chuckle, his voice just a murmur against Fay's lips. Which was probably just as well considering the poor driver was getting way too much information as it was. ]
Don't count on it. This is the only thing I actually know how to do properly. [ But since he apparently knows how to do this really well, he didn't think he would be able to botch the rest up too frightfully. Of course, that could be just wishful thinking.
And with that that they, finally, arrive as the taxi stops just outside Youou's apartment. He fumbles for his wallet, giving the driver more than strictly necessary, and somehow manages to exit the car without moving too far away from Fay while he does it. ]
It's right in here. [ He gestures vaguely at the door in question. ]

...oh, and the fact that he's kind of obviously a complete virgin, and Fay doesn't even mind. In fact, it's a bit exhilarating, thinking that he's the first person to show this guy how to do it.
He follows Youou closely out of the cab, thinking that he might apologize to the driver later if he sees him again, but forgetting everything as he gazes up at the house while allowing himself to be towed along toward the gate.]
Shit, this sure looks like the kind of place where you'd expect people to buys themselves a new boat when they get the other one wet, if you get my meaning. [He's impressed and a little amused.] I sure have moved up-marked.
