[Al's been quiet for the past few weeks, part of it was because he was under the watchful eyes of his boss, the other would be playing around with his new toy. But hey, today's the day he finally breaks his silence.]

Hello? Can anyone hear me? If you do, then I guess it's working! Yay, finally!

[And Al grins, though it's not like anyone would see that.]

But... I'm still kinda stumped about what else this thing does.

[There's a sound, as if something, like a drawer sliding out to open. And once that's done, there should a voice shouting out "GOTCHA!" afterwards.]

I think I'm supposed to insert something into it. But I'm not sure what...

[There is a long, familiar-sounding sigh.]

How many times have you tried opening and closing that thing now?

[Seriously, the constant "GOTCHA!" is starting to get on his nerves.]

[Whoops, he'll just close the thing's mouth, making a loud clicking noise afterwards.]

Though I don't think there's anything that could turn off the volume either.

[Once he hangs up, Al heads over to Hajime's, carrying his strap bag containing his Tensouder and his his Gosei Blaster. He had to bring the latter just in case. Given to what happened these past few weeks, you'll never know what else might be coming. So learned how to be a bit cautious from then on.

Once there, he'll knock at the door.]

Uh... Boss?

[Hajime opens that door to let Al inside. The apartment's pretty clean; he's done a good job of tidying up after all that stuff he accidentally broke. The only thing that's remotely out of place is a stack of library books on insects on the couch. He'd been reading before Al got there.]

Come on in.

[Al nods as he enters his boss' place.]

I hope I didn't disturb you or anything...

[But anyway enough of that, there's a reason why he's here. He's going to let his boss take a look at his weird toy. And so, Al fishes for it in his bag before taking it out. It looks like one of those weird Hawaiian tiki faces, except with golden rims, a silver coated body, and it's made of plastic some odd material.]

[Hajime gestures for Al to take a seat as he clears the books off the couch and dumps them on the coffee table. He'll also hold out a hand to take the device.]

Let's see what we've got here.

[At least it's more ridiculous-looking than his belt...makes him feel better about that.]

It's called the Tensouder! ...And aside from the name, and being able to access the network, I really have no idea what else it can do.

A mechanical bird? Like a toy or something?

It looks more like a toy than anything, but it's also self-aware and flies around on its own. I can't do very much to control it.

Eh? Is that so? Have you figured out what else it could do?

Not yet. Someone said I should take it outside and let it fly around, but I think it would stand out too much.

[Oh man, Thomas is sounding a bit shaky. I guess that's to be expected after a sudden surge of about a year's worth of episodes, toys, and fandom.]

I knew it! I knew you looked like him! It uses cards to cast invocation since you were wondering!

... I may have just figured out something important about you.

[I know how it sounds like. And Al is definitely surprised by it. Wow, he seems so ecstatic right now.]

Well, I figured cards would fit in it earlier. But it casts... invocations...?

[Al needs an explanation about this. And as for the rest:]

[If only this were video. Thomas is going full Ace Attorney about this.]

Invocation Squadron Goseiger. The 34th Super Sentai to defend the Earth. Made up of a group of five trainee angels who were on Earth when the Warstar Empire, an alien empire of bug monsters, attack.

[He adjusts his scarf and clears his throat before continuing.]

As for invocations, the Goseigers could use the Tensouner to load cards into them and, when closed, would unleash an invocation. A mindwipe, lightning, summing a weapon. Your basic hero thing.

[Thomas takes a deep breath, having tried to get all that out in as few breaths as possible.]

No idea how I know that.

[Al's definitely pinged by the words "angels" and "bug monsters". Just like in his dream, he remembered himself against some giant bug monster along with four other people. Could those four be angels too? They did somehow imply they were angels too. ...And could Al be one too? He fought alongside with them after all.

But... seriously, how did this guy know all of this? He's a bit lost and... kind of intrigued.]

Go...seiger?

[For some reason, just saying it gives him a rather familiar feeling to it. Like he's already heard of it before. And so Al just... looks at his Tensouder, pausing for a bit. (as if Thomas could even tell what he's doing anyway)]

Heeeeh, you sure know a lot about this.

Yeah, it just ... popped into my head after hearing that "Gotcha." I think you gave me an echo.

[How invasive of personal boundaries.]

Ugh, now I think I've got a headache. I'm remembering a lot of stuff. Wait, would that be learning instead? I don't know.
