I think we can all agree that the mines just sucked. Let's vent about that for a minute here. And any of you can rant away all you want in response about how much it sucked that we fell for a trap. I think we could all use it.

I haven't been able to sleep since then. I'm sick of seeing horrible things involving deaths. I'm sick of my roommate assuming that I'm doing weird things because a maid uniform suddenly appeared in my closet and she saw it before I could hide it. I'll definitely never live that one down and I didn't even buy the thing.

Definitely sick of bouncing between tired enough to pass out and like I drank a whole case of Red Bull without the need to pee every five minutes. That stuff is gross anyhow. And no, sleeping pills don't help.

If it wasn't for the fact that I can't just drop out of school and leave people I actually care about, I'd just go back home to my parents like I should have already done instead of taking summer classes. Can't even take a break from it because of what will happen when I return.

So anyone want to add any complaints beyond the we don't know if that guy was even telling the truth about that gem? Or if he was, where the others are and how to forge that seal he was talking about? It just sounds like something out of a fantasy novel, but we know what he said about the invaders is true enough.

Is that offer that you made still available? If so, I think I may take you up on it because even with all that I just said, that only scratches the surface of things and I really don't think I should be trying to handle it myself anymore.

In order to function. If I don't do it, then I end up fainting. I know it sounds horrible, but I try to use mostly trees that have enough to spare and switch around so I don't hurt any one tree too much.

I think he knows. The last time I got a flashback caused by actions we took, he got one as well. I'd much rather think about that one, being in his arms and kissing him is far nicer and he's really good at it.

Do the trees help enough? ... Does it also work on people? If you ever need to, you can take energy from me, especially if it lasts longer! ... Kissing him??

I'll just say to you what I did to Sam when he offered. I don't know yet and won't try because I know that she's capable of killing people with it and I won't risk that.

Oh, yeah! I didn't tell you about that. I went over to his place earlier this month and one thing led to another and I admitted I liked him by kissing him. I just couldn't think of any way to just come out and say it.

But you might be right. Part of what made seeing that so sad was the fact that some of the things the two of them said were very close to things we said to each other at the gallery and this was even before I had any idea the two of them loved each other.

All right... but if you want to try, I'd be happy to give it a shot! I'm pretty tough, I think I'd be okay if we were careful. But I understand why you'd be hesitant to try on a person.

It's amazing how you have so many memories. I don't have any at all. But at least they can help you with the strange powers you're getting! Right, the double date! I'm not sure... to be honest, I think there are two boys I kind of like. But I don't know what to do! And I think one may have a crush on someone else right now... I've never been really good with this kind of thing to begin with. He does sound like that! He's always been very kind to me, too -- maybe he's some kind of prince. A prince and a princess!

Nope, definitely not a prince. I always found Prince Charming to be a bit dull anyhow. He's most definitely a knight. I actually call him Sir Lancelot when I'm teasing him and he calls me Rapunzel, for the obvious reason.

It was just us trying to talk about things in a public place. He knows fairy tales pretty well so it sounded like we were discussing them rather than speaking of our crazy lives as of late.

But yes, you should spill! Who are the lucky guys to have your affection?

I see! That's pretty clever. We do have to be careful about what we say out in public, especially now that we were targeted... for everyone's safety. Ahhhhhh okay, okay. Um! Do you know Julien and Banagher?

I don't know Banagher, but do know Julien somewhat. He's got a lot in common with Sam actually and from what I've seen, the two of them are friends. The only thing that would worry me is that he seems to flirt with everyone. I think you'd have a lot of fun with him even if he doesn't end up being Mr. Right for you.

Yeah... though he's the one who I think likes someone else. He probably likes mature girls too, huh? I don't know if I'm his type! But I do like him.... I like spending time with him a lot. Ahh, I'm being so silly!

I get the impression from seeing him on the network that he likes all girls. He might be one that it would be best to use a more direct approach on rather than wait for him. If you wait, another girl may grab him up in the meantime.

I wish I were as bold as you, Tamara! You're so cool.

Actually, I chickened out the first time I tried telling him. Nearly did the second time too.

Would it help to come up with something to say beforehand? That's what tripped me up. Once I had a way to say it, it was easier.

Maybe... I'll have to think about it. The timing for this sort of thing probably isn't the greatest either! I'd hate to be a bother during a time like this, to either of them.

Or maybe they could also use something to take their minds off it. Even if you aren't recovered enough to go on a date right away, just the promise of one can be enough.

Of course, you'd have to decide which one you like better first. So tell me some more about Banagher since I don't know him at all.

Oh! I didn't think of it that way. Well... he's very sweet, and he's helped me a lot! He helps me clean the book cares in the tea parlor and we text sometimes, he works in the library, and has very pretty hair and eyes. He's... a very kind boy.

Well, think about it in a way you know well. Like when you make plans to do something fun with a friend you look forward to it from the moment the plans are made until it's time to leave. Just making those plans can be enough to make your day better even if you have to wait.

And he does sound nice. So you have the nice guy and a charming flirt. But what one do you like more?

I don't know...! Though, I think both of them only like me as a friend anyway, and I'd hate to mess up our friendship! I should probably wait and see? Oh, I don't know...

You don't get anything good without taking a risk. It could have messed up the friendship Sam and I had to tell him, but I risked it.

[Of course in Tamara's case she had to admit to something else that could have seriously ruined their friendship, and it all worked out perfectly fine.]
