Sixth Note; Video | Mirror
[We interrupt your actually-Numbers-relevant posts with a frustrated talking cat.]
Nobody here knows "Japanese." I've had this weird paper for... [Ummm...] for a long time now, but I still don't know what it says!
[Mrrr...]
I asked and asked and asked, but all the humans just said they were busy and I should use the In-ter-net, but I don't know what that is. [If you ever wondered if cats can sigh, there's a wonderful, gusty example here.]
Can anyone here read it?

No stepping!
[But she'll leap off of the bathroom counter and disappear out the door... Only to appear again as a young girl instead, an old paper in her hands. It looks pretty yellow... It could be about fifty years old, perhaps.
Carefully unfolding it so that it doesn't crumble, she holds it up to the mirror.]
Can you read it like this?
[The characters are certainly visible. It's all very official language detailing an award for literary excellence as rewarded to someone by the name of Teruo Suzuhara in the 30th year of Showa.]

You turned... into a human.
[He rubs his head.]
Ah sorry. I guess... my cat could do that. Turn into a human-shaped... thing. But uh... It looks like a... I can't read every word, cos it's kind of old but... It looks like someone named Teruo Suzuhara won an award for writing. Do you know who that is?

[Whoa!! She's never met another one like her - in this life, at least.
But when he mentions that name, "Teruo Suzuhara", her expression fades abruptly into one of confusion.]
...Teruo's dead.
[She remembers that much. Teruo... His other name was Suzuhara?]

[He looks sympathetic.]
Well, the award does look very old. I guess if you're special enough to be able to turn into a human, you might be special enough to outlive your owner.

[She scrunches her face up, trying to think. But in the end she just shakes her head.]
He lived in a funny house. It was a lot different from the one me and Elly live in.
Does that mean someone took care of me even before Elly did?
