[Probably the first thing you notice about Fred is that he's got no hair.

The second thing might be his expression (seriously irritated) or perhaps the cloth that seems to be wrapped around his neck.

He runs a hand over his head.] You guys know about the giant brush thing, right? It just... found me. I did some damage with my rocks, but it looked like eating my hair healed it.

[long pause] I think... I should start carrying my sword around. Which means letting people know what I am. [His mouth twitches briefly. The feed zooms out to reveal that the neck-cloth is in fact a cape, which he plucks at.] This'll probably help with that.

So, um. Anyone know how I could get a scabbard?

[Do you have any idea how heavy such a thing is, or how inconvenient to hold in your hand all the time? Besides, hair grows back.]

I don't think it's actually legal to carry a sword around, even if you have a scabbard, if that's helpful to know.

No, I mean I'll... pay fines or get arrested or be a fugitive or whatever. I wouldn't be the first one.

[It's odd. A year ago he never would have been willing to do this, and yet here he is going for it with only a moment's hesitation.]

Those are all very different responses and outcomes. If you're really prepared for all of them, I commend you, it's just... you seem kind odf nonchalant about some very serious possibilities.

I wouldn't say nonchalant, but... if it's what I need to do to protect Locke and the world, then I'm ready.

You know... that's something I can admire. Being willing to break the law for the greater good is a pretty compelling quality.
