I'm honestly not sure if this is a pulse or I'm going crazy. Maybe both since I haven't slept in days haha

I'm also not sure which I'm hoping for.

But something keeps talking to me and it seems to want to kill me, it's been about a month now, maybe longer. This is a longshot but any chance someone has come up with a way to get something like this under control, if it is a pulse, that is? Or has anyone else had this happen? Suddenly hearing voices that is probably not related to legitimate schizophrenia, I mean.

Getting a Voice isn't really unheard of here, no.

Mostly warns me if I'm in a bad position when I'm fighting. Otherwise, he tries to tell me his name, but it gets drowned out and then he gets mad at me for not hearing it.

That sounds useful, at least. Actually, that reminds me of another one that came up a while ago, I can use some sort of magic now. I imagine that's nothing new to you?

I've got what I'm pretty sure is a spell incantation, but it doesn't actually do anything.

Really? That's strange. Any idea why? Mine doesn't do much, but it's something, at least.

I dunno. Maybe I just got the words and not the power, or maybe it's not complete, or something. I can't even tell what it's supposed to do from the words. It just doesn't make sense.

What does yours do?

Huh, strange, but any one of those sounds like a valid enough explanation for it.

Mine is some sort of tornado. Although when I say it doesn't do much, I really mean it. It's gone just as soon as it appears and only manages to blow a few things off my desk.

[Still more than what his does. He doesn't bother thinking about it much, but when he does, it annoys him that he can't do this yet. It's been months.]

None that I know. I wonder if it would be more use if I knew of some.

If the general consensus on my incantation weren't that it's either a summoning or something really destructive, I might almost ask you to try it.

[He'd asked the network, because he spoke no Japanese at the time. But randomly trying something like that out just anywhere sounds like a bad idea, based on translations alone.]

Hm. That is pretty risky. If the reason mine is so pathetic is for lack of an incantation, then it doesn't sound like a good idea. If it's some other factor, then maybe it's worth a shot.

Unfortunately I don't think we have any way to know without actually testing it. So bad idea.
