When: Sunday, December 8 (evening, but not too late... because kids, y'know?)
Warnings: Spoilers for Attack on Titan all over.

[ At last, the big day has come. The Echo party. Sasha was bringing snacks, and Ryan and Bertholdt even decked the place out in Christmas decorations-- they have a real tree and everything. Their apartment looks, in a word, festive, which is adorable given that they're wearing matching christmas sweaters and fidgeting around a bit. ]

[ Now just pretend Ryan and Bertl don't look kinda titan-y and you're all set. And forget about the part where they're having a bunch of kids over to discuss their ridiculously depressing past lives... Well. You feel me. ]

[ So yeah!!! THIS IS IT!! Just for reference, I'm putting a "Start" (ie: for people getting to the party if you wanna awkwardly greet people or so you can handwave that too) and then just saying like "later" or whatever for Ryan's big heck up, you guys are free to start threads whenever/wherever just say when in the subject if you wanna. (so like, 3DMG showing offs and PS3 fun times, etc. go crazy!!) ]

...Yeah. [It's scary to think Alan could get that violent, against his own will, and over a memory that isn't even something that belonged to him.] --But, at least you can still fight it.

[He pauses, the thought that comes to mind isn't all that comforting. What if they all get this way? This would mean Alan is the example.. are they really becoming someone completely different?] We're going to need you, because.. you're going to know what's going on before anyone else. I just have this feeling I guess.... it's my own feeling too, it's not Jean's. I've gotten a lot of little memories today but one of the biggest differences was that I had the courage to stand up to you... [That's in no way normal, in fact Jamie's braveness has his almost terrified. Alan could have attacked him just like he had Ryan...

...] D-do you think Jean and -- Eren, is that his name? Do you think they were friends?

It's a good thing you did stand up to me, too. Thanks. [Even though Ellie assured him that she'd have stopped him, Alan is glad that he didn't have the chance to actually do anything worse to Ryan than that first kick.

The question makes him pause in turn. They hadn't seemed like friends in his single memory of Jean, but it's not like other memories haven't given him false impressions before. And there's the way he'd reacted to Jamie had felt like he was someone to listen to, someone to trust...]

I don't know. But I think they might have been.

....They might have been. [Friends are a weird thing to have, alright. It feels new, strange, but also kinda wonderful. Maybe if Eren and Jean were friends... Alan would become Jamie's as well. Course he would never tell Alan he wanted friendship, made him feel inferior just thinking about it... Though he can't say he doesn't feel some connection, he feels like Jean's had this conversation before...]

....You remember a lot of stuff, don't you Alan?
[Wonder what he'd tell Jamie.. he used to be terrified about receiving echos but now they have been earning him friends and experiences he never thought he'd have. At least not without much more struggle.. High School might turn out like in the movies at this rate.]

Sometimes I've gotten stuff and not noticed. I mean, you learn to recognise that pulse feeling, that's always there, but sometimes it's not totally obvious what you actually got.

...It's kind of the same thing as Ryan and Bertholdt. Past me could turn into a titan. I've gotten some stuff related to that, it just hasn't been anything as crazy as Ryan's face,

[He just watched Alan for a good long while, eyes wide in shock..] You're.. a titan?

... You know, I .. ah-I... Had this memory before, I think Jean might have been friends with a titan.. he was standing on one before. Maybe it was you...



I had it after seeing Ryan for the first time.
[He's over it now, no grudge, in fact being part of the network has given him some friends and that means a lot to Jamie...]

Yeah. [Telling people about it feels a little awkward, especially with his memories of what a big deal it had been the first time around.]

But, uh. Do you remember what that titan looked like? 'Cause I remember being on Reiner's shoulder when he was a titan. It might be the same kind of situation.

[That memory is taking on a whole new context, now that he thinks about it. If they weren't on the same side, it makes a lot more sense that he'd been bound and gagged.]

Ah- I know it was different looking from the others.. I don't remember why or what he was doing but I- Jean, was standing on him.. Who's Reiner? Is that Ryan's past life guy..?

[Perhaps with just one more detail Jamie could remember something but for not the subject was too vague.. not to mention a little terrifying to be talking about again but he was doing his best not to let that show.]
