Alright, what the hell was that? I thought earthquakes like that didn't happen on this side of this country.
Also, am I the only person who's noticed that the annoying buzzing noise has stopped?

actually the fact that the buzzing stopped was the first thing i noticed! i thought maybe my hearing went out for a minute after the quake until my mom called my name. it's weird, i got so used to it being there!

[Well, maybe she would have. She does like to complain.]
I'm glad it stopped though. Still thought it was a little weird that it did right after the earthquake.

oh man, they must have been related! i bet the buzzing stopped BECAUSE of the earthquake! maybe it broke whatever was broadcasting it and our next mission must be to find and repair it because despite how annoying it is, it was really keeping our enemies at bay and now there's nothing stopping them from invading!!

I hope not. You'd think they'd be able to come up with a defensive mechanism that wasn't so annoying.
I don't think we could fix it anyway. Apparently it came from a giant rock under the Tuning Towers.

[no russel don't gush that's really rude, KEEP IT TOGETHER]
[you can always ask her a million questions about living in japan later]
oh cool i've never been there, do you miss it?
whoa, really? yeah, that sounds like it would be a really complicated repair job. how do you even fix a buzzing rock? i mean, gluing it back together probably isn't going to do the trick, right?
